Oy. Rainy day in Connecticut. Gonna be a rainy week.
Interesting developments in Russia. Wouldn't mind seeing an end to the Putin era, but certainly hope that if there is a change in power, it is not violent.

We'll sip some coffee while doing some laundry then off to car wash to knock off the 7 days of rain we have received.
No other plans today. Maybe go to range to smack some balls and clean garage floor.

- Made a run to Costco yesterday. I got, you know, stuff.
- Stella is going out to play with Toad and Heidi today. We have a new bike joining us too. Heading to arguably the best BBQ joint in GA.

Baby Lauren's eta over here is 830am. Our first sit with her, she is 5mo old now.. Found my gramma stroller at a garage sale yesterday its perfect and cost 5 dollars ha!
No rain here in days we need it badly.
Going to meet bff and friends at some live outdoor music venue tonight since we are rarely in town on a summer sat night. Should be fun.

Lee my ddil is due July 19. We'll see who comes first lol.

OK, now I have to check out the news to see what you are talking about. It's only 5 a.m. here on the West Coast.
Perfect weather, here, and we are heading out with DS and family to hike through a mile long lava tube in the Cascades. Rita was up at 4 frying empanadas for the road trip. I just had one. She hasn't lost her touch. The pastry in incredible. Sassy will be home alone for a long day. We'll leave her in the backyard.0 -

Love me an empanada. I should learn to make them as most in restaurants have things DH won't eat. ( adds to the list to make in Mesa...she has a gourmet kitchen with all the stuffs)
The rain finally stopped yesterday about 4pm, so we walked up to the uptown area. They cone it off to traffic and have activities, food and music. It was a 6 mile round trip walk and worth a look. Trail was pretty muddy in spots so I doubt we will bike today.0 -

After seeing mom at the hospital for myself, I'm not sure how much of what dad thinks he sees is real vs. wishing. He doesn't travel in a car on the Sabbath, so I'm heading over there to sit with her for a while.1 -

Beautiful day for a scooter ride, no rain expected today or tomorrow but getting near 90.
Deer got into garden ate some okra plants and when I saw them they were munching on green tomatoes.

Steph my DS believes the more mud the better, hose off outside then slip in backdoor.
Being grandparents is great, get to spoil them then send them home; once they are older keep supply of snickers and cokes, provide to grand 30 minutes before parent comes to pick them up. Love telling DS and DD now you know what we delt with; payback.0 -

Even better night last night. After fair parking,which I hate, we got some Mexican. Came home sat outside and had some bourbon on ice. It was splendid. Both the bourbon and the weather.
Now, I’m pouting. Supposed to have lunch with friends and dh FORGOT to tell me about him and ds2 going to get a truck. He forgot too. Errrr.
