    Mornin' BBB.

😆 Lou! Safe travels and prayers continue.
Hope there will be photos of the lava tube.
Surely there will be more than a swamp cooler at the AZ housesit. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

    Morning BBB

Arizona house come with two AC units and a pool.

Current housesit is in a condo that looks like apartments. We are on the 3rd floor with no elevator so have to carry bikes up and no wash station. We clean them off the best we can and hope for the best.
Currently stored in the guest room/ office.

We did ride 72 miles yesterday. Had a flight of beers at a brewery and an uninspiring Mexican takeout meal. Will ride again today as rain moves in Sunday afternoon through Tuesday. Probably 30-40 miles today with a stop at a grocery store for lentils so I can make soup for tomorrow.

    Prayers Lou.

Finally we got some needed rain overnite!

Picked up Maddie dog at 5pm last night as her people were in IL longer than they expected to be. So I'll take her home later. She's back to her dog bed now after breakfast. She is such a sweet dog, she really is.

No other plans today which feels great

    Safe travels home Lou

Have a nice safe bike ride Steph and Ron

    Good morning BBB friends.

The lava cave was a lot more rugged than I expected. Lots of clamoring over big piles of boulders and a few short vertical climbs, too. A bit embarrassing to have everyone looking out for the old guy. Still, quite interesting and one I have finally checked off my list. Here are some photos.

This is the one place where the roof caved in enough to form a skylight. The rest of the mile and a half was in pitch black.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • I've been churched and schooled.
    • Good ride and good BBQ yesterday. You meet the nicest people on a Honda, Harley, BMW.
    • Great pics Dave. Talk about feeling old, spend a with with a couple hundred 17 year olds.
    • I've learned to enjoy the days where there is nothing on the calendar.
    • Safe travels Lou.
