    G'Morning

Took a day off for mental health! Lots to do to include picking up a new whip and making room in the garage for the regal addition. Speaking of..... new truck in Indiana?

Storms supposed to roll through later tonight in the mid-atlantic!

What is everyones Fourth weekend plans? Thinking we are just laying low and maybe connect w/ neighbors. There is an invite for our Corvette Club to roll in a parade but that a bit farther to drive than I want to do. We'll see.

Tucker is not much on the firecracker noises.

    Cheers,
    skipper

    Good morning.

Regal addition? Is that a clue? Is it a Maserati? Or is it an F150 King Ranch Edition?

I had a successful nap yesterday afternoon. Only needed to be up at 3:30AM for a flight to make that happen. Also went to the pool for the first time this year. After about 5 minutes you feel like a matzo ball in soup though.

Busy day ahead for me with meetings and a walk through with another insurance adjuster for the smoke damage from the fire a couple doors down a few months ago.

    Good morning BBB friends.

OK, Skip, we expect a photo of the new ride ASAP.

The painters will be here for the next 4 to 5 days. It is going to be a pretty startling change, from a white house to a dark gray one.

Fireworks were outlawed inside the city limits, here, several years ago, so we won't have as much noise on the 4th as we used to get. Last year Sassy was mostly just curious about the rockets she saw. We'll hope this year is the same. Saturday is her birthday. She'll be two. How time flies.

    Mornin' BBB.

Hate backyard fireworks. Professional displays are fine and can be amazing, but Joe Blow making noise in the neighborhood freaking out dogs is a real PITA.
Glad you got home safe, Lou.

Not to mention when Joe blows fireworks land on others roofs and in their yards. Its a fire waiting to happen!

Hope our friends in Indiana were far away from the storm damages and they have power.

It's pouring here just now. We need the rain.

Best go open my office. Uggh Monday. But itsa short couple weeks woohoo.

    Have a good day BBB

LOL! Do I REALLY strike you as a King Ranch Edition guy, Lou? A few more hours to wait but here's a clue

    Morning BBB

Lava tube adventure looked great. We had planned to go there last spring but got snowed outthe day we had planned.

The forecasted rain/thunderstorms for yesterday afternoon didn't show. We did get soaked on our morning bike ride for the last 5 miles or so. Thankfully not too cold.

Not sure what to do today. It says rain beginning at 11. Need a few groceries so maybe just walk up to the zero waste/ organic store. They should have everything needed. I think about 4 miles round trip.

I slept terrible so I'm hoping for a small nap.

    • So what's the fanciest trim level for a Yugo?
    • Lou, I see where Austin is attempting to revitilize the historic 6th Street district. Let's hope it works out.
    • Neighbor has a mint Harley Heritage Softail for sale. Hmmm.

It’s a real beaut of a car but I still don’t know what it is!!!

The tornado touched down less than 10 miles from ds2 house. All is good where he’s at. He’s the one that got the new to him truck. Another steal of a deal.

    I’m pooped. That’s all I’ve got

Looking forward to seeing your house when it’s done Dave.

Mary, I agree about the fireworks. My friends dog will pace and pant and nearly croak over for 11 days. That’s right our city let’s the crazy go on for 11 days!!! Nothing like a rocket cracker to fly into a hay mound

Wow Kelly. Tornados are always a bit scary.
I cannot tell what kind of car we is looking at, either.

A Jaguar? Didn't see that coming, Skip. I really thought it was going to be a Škoda.

Nice "Jag", and I like white, so much cooler and easier to keep clean.
Yoga this morning, then got prescription straightened out; bad when pharmacist does not follow prescription and fills wrong.
    Lodge tonight.
DMIL seems to be happy in new home.

    Haaaa.

Yea, same exact Jag SVR we had before the Grand Wagoneer debacles. this is the last year they'll make Jag with combustion engines. Last Turbo V-8 you'll likely see off the assembly lines.
