Ahhhh! I was about your size and weight when I was your age. (I peeked at your profile!) Oh, the "good old days!"
Kudos to you for being proactive while you are young and in good shape! I would encourage you to build as much muscle now as you can! It will pay off later. I wish I had been more in touch with fitness as a young woman. I figured I did not have to worry because I was small and slim! And I stayed naturally slim into my 30`s. But if I had built more muscle when younger, it would be easier to maintain slimness now!
So, good for you for looking ahead! If you make the improvements that you are talking about now by adding some strength training, it will pay dividends!!0 -

My lightest was 105lbs when I was boxing over a year ago. (not sure what my body fat % was) After boxing is when I got back up to 120lbs (Since I was not eating so clean and I did not have the intense workouts/cardio)0 -

I've never been thin, but sometime around when I was 18 I weighed 121 lb but I felt skinny fat, then I gained a lot and when I was 22 I reached 132 but with a much leaner body. I think I can reach my UGW because of my diet and exercise plan plus my frame.
When I hit 165 lbs a month ago I realized I may end up being wider than taller if I continued this way. So that's why I'm here, again.
When I get in the groove I enjoy jogging, lifting, swimming and I want to try boxing in 2014
Should I try boxing right away or wait till I feel fitter?0 -

I started my journey 4 years ago. I initially dropped 15 lbs, and have maintained there. The lowest I have been so far is 125 lbs, but that happened when i went on a trip to India in 2012 and pretty much fasted while I was there. Unfortunately, i have stayed around 135 since then.
I rebooted my weight loss regimen and took it seriously this year. I never tracked my diet daily. Hopefully that helps, its the beginning of week two for me of being consistent on MFP. Hopefully I can knock my goal out of the park.0 -

I am 5'4" and want to get down to at least 160. I just started useing My Fitness Pal. At first I was seeing an improvement, but now I seem to be plateauing. I have no idea what I should be eating a day. I have Fit Bit, but it continuely adds and subtracts from my daily goal depending on my activity level. At 4:00 pm I might have 400 calories left, but if I eat 400 at dinner, by 8:00 it might drop, then all of a sudden i'm over my calorie intake. MFP is telling me I need to eat at least 1200. I work out 40 min 3-4 days a week doing mostly cardio. Being a short girl, I know my calorie intake is different from others so i'm looking for examples from other short girls and what they are doing.0 -
