Pour yourself a mug of your favorite morning brew. Pull up a chair and join us for our morning roll call here on the BBB.

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

    Morning bbb

Our host picked us up at the airport and we spent the day going over house stuff and visiting with him plus a costco run. This is our third year here so it's kinda like coming home. Only new task this year is they just planted new trees that need hand watering. Every day this week then every other. They are so nice to us...stocked pantry, cold water in the car ride from airport, full tanks of gas in all 3 cars.

The wife is already in Washington state helping her daughter move so missed catching up with her.

He leaves this afternoon. It's hot here...going to take us a bit to acclimate. Should probably go for a walk around the neighborhood now.

    Morning~

Up / out early to go to Cars & Coffee! I may have a problem. Had a guy make me offer on my 78' Vette and I've been eyeing the new C8's. Can't justify it - but a guy can dream!

'hood BBQ later this afternoon and then buddies house to watch Chicago Nascar (not looking forward to this format)!

    Hope all are doing well!

    Good morning BBB friends.

Have had a stiff neck the last two days - really bothering me. I'd like to stay home from church, but I have to tell the congregation about the rebuilding of the sanctuary, which starts in a week. I expect to have to answer questions that were already asked and answered multiple times. So that will make TWO pains in the neck. Sigh.

Go the other way, Skip. A guy in my high school was given a 1966 Vette, with the big-block V-8 (427 cubic inch) and chrome pipes down the sides. To my mind, the coolest Vette of all time. I have drooled over them ever since.

    Good Sunday afternoon BBB Friends.
    • We had one combined service at church this morning so I didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn.
    • Our a/c froze up last night and is limping along. It gets replaced tomorrow.
    • I saw a great picture of Sassy and her niece (?).
    • It's time for Braves baseball.

    Afternoon BBB

Rainy day in CT. Did some dock diving with the girls.
Hope the stiff neck isn't from looking up for holidays taken by painters, Dave.
If I was gonna get a sporty muscle car from the 60's, it would probably be a '67 Camaro.

    Good Afternoon,
DD, DSIL and DGS came yesterday afternoon and left this afternoon. DD concerned about helping get her Nana settled in. Meanwhile DW is still trying to find required information government agencies are required from DMIL.
Listened to church service on Facebook today, new minister that was to start today choose not to start till next week.
Toad should be back tomorrow, wanted to know if I wanted to pick up today, no pickup and delivery is included in service contract.
predicting rain this evening, maybe it will cool everything off.
I have wasted so much money on automobiles in my life, still enjoy looking but no desire to own any more.
