    GM!

Late night with a loss for the Nats, but the rain held off for a great evening at the park!

Glad to see you got A/C, Dennis! 76-78 is still too warm for me. 69-70 is the range we normally keep house (and DMIL arguments) at.

Quiet day today. Maybe some burgers/dogs on grill.

    Happy Independence Day BBB Friends.
    • Yeh, you and I would fight over the thermostat Skip. Either good way to have A/C. Also got a new ecobee thermostat I am learning.
    • Thinking about our friend Lou and shiva.
    • I am working in the serving line at our community BBQ this afternoon. It's sponsored by the Veterans Club.
    • Stay calm doggies.

    Happy 4th, 247 years
They did not return Toad as promised
We have neighborhood parade at 9, mostly kids on bicycles and older folks on golf carts; and at 1 hamburgers and hotdogs at playground, don't think I'm going no shade up there.
Putting some ribs on smoker for supper.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I'm more with Dennis on the thermostat. We set it at 70 for winter heat, because we are wimps, in summer, it goes to 76 for the AC. At 69 we'd be wearing sweaters.

At 92, it's going to be too hot to attend the local parade, so we'll probably spend the day at home. I will cook some brats and sauerkraut for supper.

    Morning

At the current house we have two AC. We clicked them up to 79 after the host left. They usually keep at 77. The TV room in the middle of the house gets too cold for my taste so we usually hang in the living room/kitchen or in the pool.

Went for a 5 mile flat walk yesterday morning. It was hot but bearable. I ordered a new pair of tennis shoes yesterday as REI didn't have my size. We will stick to pavement until they come. My teva hiking sandals cannot handle desert hikes.

In our old life there is a group bike ride at the 4th of July capital of Nebraska that we alway did with friends. It was a fun day. Sad to miss it. Maybe one year we will plan to be there again.

    Mornin' BBB

    Happy Fourth! 247th!
68 in winter, and a fan in the window in summer. If had AC, would set at 74.
Sounds like a lovely walk, Steph. I just got a pair of Hokas. Me likey very much.
