    Last minute packing and laundry. Weather will be low 70’s on Pemaquid Point where I’ll be, and 60’s at night, good for camping. Hope to paddle a nice river there, and might even bring the bicycle. DD and her athlete DH and DKs hopefully joining me Sat - Wed.

    Doing some serious thinking about weight control and lifestyle changes to make.

    I’ll be mostly offline for the next week. Sam, get well soon. Bill, luck at the DMV-- and on your PET scan.

    Sam, I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Still praying for you!

    Bill, I'm glad that it worked out at the DMV for you. It won't be long and you'll be telling us about going to the Oregon DMV. :wink:

    We did NOT get the promised storms. I'll be watering the tomatoes tonight. We got up to 78 degrees dew point yesterday. That kind of humidity is just miserable.

    Up at 4 to get ready for a hike. It seems like forever since I was on a trail. Looking forward to some forest time.

    Spent a couple hours painting the metalwork on one of the benches at church, then applied stain/sealer to the wood slats. I'll get Rita to go over Friday, to touch up any spots that I missed. With my defective color vision, I have a hard time seeing small places where the reddish primer peeks through the black paint. I put five hours into that bench. Three more to go.

    My DMV adventure went pleasantly well. Drop in service can take many hours, I drove over and was driving away in less thatn 90 minutes. I received great, helpful service too. PT just called to cancel this mornings final session due to illness. I will reschedule if it is convenient. Its the last one so I don't think it is crucial. Got our last painting quote I chased down. He called while I was driving and then just sent a text with the amount. I will go with the more professional painters who were just a few hundred more. Time to start setting dates and get out of here. Still quite tired, especially as the day goes on. I am almost over another cold from the preschool. I will be glad when Heather is retired and not bringing all the germs home with her to share.

    Doing well after my Oral Surgery with extraction, implant,and bone graft. Pecocet twicfe the day of and then ok.
