    Good morning.

    Cecilia's mom was admitted to the hospital last night with out of control blood sugar levels. Cecilia changed her flights to Brazil and is heading there this afternoon to provide her sister some extra care giving help.

    Her mom will learn the PET scan results next week - which the kids already know - and then decisions will be made about treatment.

    Gee, Lou, this has been a tough year. Praying for Cecilia and her mom.

    I'm heading out for some forest therapy, today. It has been a long time since I was on a trail. Today's hike will be up to 19 miles. We'll see how far I get before I turn around.

    • Nice lunch ride on the scooter yesterday. It was getting a little toasty by the time we got back. I'm open to wearing a half helmet and taking the jacket off. I guess it is my Harley background. Heidi's rider keeps all the gear on, all the time. I guess that's his BMW background.

    Safe travels and prayers for Cecilia.

    Mary we are at this sit until mid September then cruise out of Honolulu on October 1. Still deciding what to do with our 12 days in between. Need to get on that. I see flights to Hawaii have almost doubled. Should have booked a long time ago.

    Headed to the desert park in a few for a plant hike and a lecture series of saguaro cactus.

    Had a meet up last night with a bunch of ladies in the neighborhood.
