DBIL not only lost his prostate (he is doing well post op), but maybe losing his wife too. He is kinda in the dumps.

Long day at show yesterday - no hardware for the efforts - but supported a great cause! Spent some time at community pool and met a few cool neighbors. I think I'm signed up for a poker club; car club; and supper club. Ha

Lunch at the rabbi's house was good yesterday. Between that and services there wasn't much free time to be had other than a run to the grocery store and my usual failed attempt at an afternoon nap.
Not sure what I'm doing with myself today. It's been so hot that my motivation to be outside just isn't there; and that's where all the fun is.0 -

Another beautiful day today, with a high of 82. We plan an afternoon in the backyard with the grandkids. I'll get out the Slip-N-Slide.
Rita caught a problem mole in one of her traps yesterday. She was smiling all afternoon. That little lady is a killer.0 -

Attempted to give Ron a haircut today. He ditched the clippers to save space and weight. It was getting very long so probably should have just gone to a barber and I can keep neck and ears trimmed weekly. It doesn't look terrible just a little lopsided.
Heading put for a bike ride now before it gets too hot.

Beautiful weather here this morning. Coffe on my deck. Birds chirping. Seems the baby Robins vacated their nest atop the gutter elbow. Dh will be happy. Better than in my ivy gerainim basket for their first try. I tucked some empty plastic water bottles in it, lol.

Our whitewater trip is this next weekend. I guess there’s a lot of hiking trails too. Not sure if we will do that on Sunday or not. Ds1 is coming home for his annual beer fest in our pool. We’d like to get home to see him before he heads back to Wisconsin.
When it’s this hot out you have to stay in the air conditioning or a pool. Imo.0
