I saw a meme on FB stating the last day of this year will be 12.31.23...thought you numbers guys would get a kick out of that number.
Bill, so the results of the scan are not in yet? Is the oncologist discussing surgical intervention, radiation, and/or chemo? So very sorry you are having to deal with all this.
DBIL is recovering from prostatectomy well. Still has indewlling urethral catheter for a few more days. Walking several miles daily and able to eat solid food again.
((Connie)) her work is so important.
Hoping you had multiple tight lines yesterday, Dave, and did not have much time to read.
Leaving on July 26th for Germany. Hoping to stay connected. Expecting birth to happen before we get there. Will miss the beginning of my tomato crop. Gal that will be coming over to water will be the beneficiary of the first ripe tomatoes.
    Sam, how is DMIL doing?
How is the internal gyroscope, Bob?

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning!

    I appreciate the numbers meme.

I worked in the garden for a bit last night. With dew point at 72, it was just too sticky hot to do much. We could have our first ripe tomato this weekend? I have picked a couple of ripe cherry tomatoes so far.

Collin had a phone interview yesterday, and an in person interview on Friday. Perhaps we'll get somewhere this time. I can always hope and pray.

Prayers continue for all of you.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Had a very pleasant morning at the lake, yesterday. I caught three, lost a couple, and got halfway through an old Western novel (I'm a fan of Louis L'Amour). It was really nice and peaceful in the cool of the morning - no jet skis or speed boats. Just fishermen on the water. I bought some replacement line for my reel - I want to try a braided line - but didn't put it on before I left home. Next time. Lee is probably the only one with a clue what I am talking about.

I might go work on another bench at outside our church. Maybe not - it's going to be hot today. 91 they say.

    Praying for you, Bill.

    Good Morning

Glad the fishing trip went well Dave.

I don’t know why the scan was scheduled on the same day as the initial meeting with radiation oncologist. He was a bit surprised. But it was good to meet him and he was able to lay out a treatment plan based on what he was expecting. It’s about a 6 mos deal starting with hormone therapy next week at the urologist, then radioactive seeds in a couple mos are implanted in the prostrate and at the end, 5 weeks of daily radiation therapy, 5 days a week. Unless there is an ugly surprise on the scan, it is quite treatable and routine. I like the oncologist a lot. He mapped out some ways we could still move in the middle of this. I would prefer to stay here and do it all here. Less stress frankly. Heather and I are not on the same page. But we’ll get there.

Yea that isn't so smart with the scan scheduling Bill. Good luck with it all!!!
Glad Dave had a good day fishing.
Yea hot here today too. Maybe 95-ish deg.
Prayers for you Steve and your son Collin and his job search.
We are getting a fairly steady stream of tomatoes except our Brandywine which at least has some fruit on it now.

    Good Afternoon,
Prayers Bill, praying doctors have overstated severity of cancer.
    Hope Collin finds his groove.
    Very HOT and HUMID
Will try to cut lawn in morning before it gets too hot.
