    Office day!

Already spend $18 in tolls to get here. Suspect another $20+ leaving today.....+ $12 to park.....It's a $50+ day just to come to work! #FML!

On the plus - meeting my former (retired) boss for Happy Hour this afternoon and the final set of shudders for the house get installed today. Company arrives tonight and more tomorrow.

The #SummerofLou is showing signs of potential!!!! Hope Celia's Mum is steadily improving too!

Praying still for DB too, Dennis!

Big CITY Pep Rally this afternoon as we bid adieu to toxic Redskins owner Dan Snyder. Buh Bye.....

    Cheers,
    Skipper

Good morning. I’m off to work since I didn’t win any lottery. Ugh. I had big plans too.

Prayers for Cecelia and her mom. I’m sure she will be tired today.

I spent 4:30-6 yesterday in the dental chair getting a crown and 2 fillings replaced. My mouth is still sore today.

Dinner tonight with my mom and sister.

Steph. Maybe you can make your own butter?!

Wow. It costs a lot of money just to go to work.

    Make it a great day.

    Good morning.

I haven't seen any reply-all emails to our group lottery ticket buy, so I presume that it's business as usual for me today.

Is that variable tolling that's doing that, Skip? Or are you that far out?

Cecilia thinks her mom is getting discharged today. The Oncologist appointment is tomorrow.

It is "variable" that SUPPOSEDLY adjusts for traffic conditions. Alas, at 5a - there is not heavy traffic - but it's still double digit figures. It's becoming a fester with everyone in region and employers are being told by employees - EITHER PAY FOR MY DRIVE/PARKING or I'm sitting home. I'm about ready to join that revolt.

    Good morning BBB friends.

We're going over to Westport, on the coast, for the weekend, leaving tomorrow. I need to mow, etc. today. Sassy will be going to the pet lodge for the weekend.

I haven't checked the lottery results, but assume I am still a member of the non-rich.

Well...I know I have the powerball #24 because ds2s bday is the 24th and I played it. I also know I didn't buy my ticket at the mini mart in Los Angeles! I will check to see what I did win later.

Today is work, Dr. Appt for lunch, then Costco. Then go see baby since I'm at lake all weekend. Hoping the boat part is in and we can get back on the water Saturday! Suppose to be great weather!

    Any news Grampa Lee?

Ds1 has had a hellofa few weeks working with new owners. He's been swamped with reporting numbers etc for them & legal teams etc. Hoping most keep their jobs, including him.

Have a great day and ride safe riders!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Rumor has it today is Thursday.
    • Skip, I assume you have toll lanes and free lanes. How much longer would the commute be at 5am in the free lanes? $50 a day to go to work is a bit excessive.
    • We have a neighbor friend who is in home hospise care. Family has been told he is near the end. Sad.
    • Sorry guys, my lottery tickets paid zip. Anybody have friends in CA?
    • DB feeling better day by day.
    • T&Ps for Cecilia's DM.

    Morning BBB

Dad called last night. They are thinking of joining us in New Zealand for their honeymoon. Seems like a really long flight for one week but it will be great to have company. His house sold quickly, as we knew it would so he is knee deep in getting rid of stuff. He is leasing the shop back until March which will help. Plus he had a ton of hail damage out there last week. Mostly to the outbuildings.

Phoenix was 119 yesterday. A little less in the east valley where we are. Super glad for AC. Don't know how all the construction and yard guys manage.
