    Ding Dong Danno's Gone! It's a bright new day here in Washington! Big "city pep rally" this afternoon to celebrate the new Commander's ownership group and hopefully a new era of winning :smiley:

    Good morning.

    Cecilia's mom got sprung from the hospital yesterday and is meeting the oncologist today at 11:45 Central today.

    I have blood work this morning after services, so we'll see if my cholesterol is back in check.

    #SummerOfLou plans include after-work cigars today and a trip to Louisville on Sunday for a few days.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    We're taking off this morning for a weekend at the beach. We'll drop Sassy off on the way, then spend three days with DS and family, fishing, crabbing, building sandcastles, hiking, etc. Sassy would love much of that, but we're eating at restaurants and visiting some museums, where she just wouldn't be welcome.

    Today we have a lunch and learn at the state park about monsoons then a follow up appointment with our DNS doctor.

    I bought ingredients to make mango daquaris so maybe cocktails by the pool this afternoon. It's only supposed to be 110 today.

    Have fun at the beach.

    It continues very Humid but should be a couple degrees cooler today only 93 degrees.s

    • Neighbor / Friend passed away yesterday. It was expected but still sad.
    • I got up way too early and went for a breakfast ride on the motorbike. Nice to ride at 75°.
    • This is my 1st year not going to Boys Nation. Thinking about them all arriving today.

    We are lake bound ETA 6:15pm

    Skip, its 165 miles. 2.5 hour drive home to lake. Center of the state.

    DD and Baby Lauren, who's 6months old now are coming to visit us for a boat ride Sat. Morning. I got a new infant life jacket. They'll stay til 4pm or so.dsil is working all day.

    Any news Lee? How's ddil, what is her due date?

    Sorry about the friend Dennis.

    No plans today. Going to be hella hot again so I'm guessing a quick walk or maybe a dessert hike. We were supposed to go on a dragonfly hike but it was canceled due to heat advisory,

    I haven't talked to either sister in a few weeks so will probably call both this weekend.
