Good morning gentlemen.
Pretty much packed and ready to leave for a weekend at the coast with DS and family. We'll drop Sassy off on our way since a dog doesn't fit in well in restaurants and museums. I am taking my fishing license, but plan to just watch DDIL fish. I don't have a saltwater setup. We'll throw in some crab pots, too, and I can use my license to account for some of the catch, if we get lucky.0 -
Enjoying my coffee and breakfast on the balcony in the cool of the morning.
Spent yesterday drying some camping things in DS’s yard; he fixed supper, dropped homemade pizza onto oven door—upside down—at least the crust was still tasty and he’d grilled cheeseburgers as well.
My tent zipper went kaput after two downpours splashed mud and sand into the teeth. Wouldn’t open at first (a big problem middle of the night for an old man) Now it slides but won’t close. Fun.
While camping I got to explore a wilderness section of Pemaquid river in my canoe, wildflowers everywhere all different colors.
Sam, glad to hear you’re seemingly going in the recovery direction.
Lee, bring that trolling motor next time…
PT this morning. Haven’t done any home exercises since last session.0 -
Bill, I recently saw this new paper on ways to improve cancer outcomes. Take a look, and ask your doctors to review it.

Good Morning,
Storm came through last evening, blew over planters and large tree on porch, took two of us to right tree up.
Deer were in backyard again last night, bless their heart.
Enjoy beach with grands Dave,
Humidity very high put with heat not fun outside.
Hope all have a good weekend.0 -
Good Morning
Well that looks like a "fun" read. I will attempt it later today.
Heather and I have postponed our Oregon move until next year once my treatment is complete in January. Painting and flooring are cancelled as well until then. We will stay with our partial floor in the kitchen. This is reducing stress quite a bit. So now we will consolidate our packed boxes in storage on Sunday when it should cool down. We will unpack our everyday dishes, silverware and some cooking things and get back into a better kitchen routine and less of a temporary situation. We will then continue to work on the packing at a less frenzied pace. It will look a bit odd since most of the downstairs furniture is gone or empty and artwork is packed. Unfortunately my excuse for not doing as much cleaning will be gone and other more routine things as well. I have already been asked to get back to normal meal prep and planning. Oven Roasted Chicken Shawarma is on tap for tonight.0 -
