Mornin’
Funeral of an old friend this morning. We had downpours and T-storms late yesterday, with a tornado watch for awhile. Flash flood in some areas.
Bill, sounds like the most sensible plan for now. Take care of health, and put retirement move on hold for awhile.

Good morning!
I didn't get checked in yesterday. It was a very busy, but productive day.
Mike, that sucks with the zipper. If it is a nylon zipper, you might just have to replace it. If it is a metal zipper, I understand a water pick, like for human teeth, will help.
Bill, it does sound like you have a good plan. I continue to hold you in prayer.
Sam, you are sounding more like the Sam we know and love. I continue to pray for you, as well.
Lee, I can imagine that you are getting very excited. When do you leave?
Chores today, rest tomorrow.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Had a good first day, with a lot of crab ring throwing and pulling and fishing from a pier. We caught two crabs that were large enough to be keepers, and two black rock fish. An enterprising seagull grabbed one of the fish right out of the bucket, cutting the catch in half. Fun, anyway. Rita is now primed to get her license and start fishing over here. Day ended with a stroll on the beach and a board game with DS.
Hotel is a bit battered - not horrible but showing its age. The Wi-Fi is painfully slow, too. I'll survive. Looking forward to today's adventures.0 -
Good Morning
Crab fishing is something we look forward to next year. We got a primer in Bandon OR. A battered hotel...it wasn't called Bates was it?
More brutal heat today. We are headed out early to start consolidating storage space and bring a couple things back. Then we will come home to the joys of A/C and I will work on getting our living room back so we can shift those boxes to our storage. Fun times. Heather had a surprise party at work yesterday to celebrate her retirement next week. It was a wonderful surprise for her, and she brought home leftover Chinese food.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Yoga class this morning, had a little trouble demonstrating poses, but got through with a good yogi who said she came to be pushed otherwise she would stop or not do all pose to fully help body. She does a "Boot Camp" three times a week and was very tight.
Deer back into tomatoes, then just say two squirrels run across backyard with a tomato in each mouth.
I'm tired of feeding varmints.
Have cleaned up many of my stacks of clutter in great room and kitchen; next will work in bedroom. I come from a family of hoarders who always think I may need that one day; when that day comes I do not think about it or have so much stuff I cannot find it. DW believes if one cannot identify a use for something within six months it needs to go except for her closet.
Dave, enjoy coast with family.
Steve, make sure tomorrow is a day of rest.
Mike, hope you got zipper working and everything dried out.
Prayers will continue for you Bill and per some economist next year should be a better year for real estate; though I do not see much difference other than folks will be more use to interest rates that I still believe are low considering the early eighties.0 -
Afternoon gents.
What kind of crabs? Dungeness? Sounds fun!
Congratulations to Heather. I saw her on FB in her tiara. She is a good sport.
So the yogi lady's body was tight (eyebrows raised), or her bootcamp was tightly run? Either way, atta boy Sam.
Met a friend from Vermont to train dogs this morning and it was awesome. Good to do something different than with the training group I usually train with.
I hate frozen zippers.
Still trying to figure out my boat's ouboard issue. Got out on the lake today, will get out again tomorrow. Need to figure it out before I hit the salt again.
Leaving for Germany on Wednesday the 26th.
Be OP ;-)
