Good morning.
#SummerOfLou yesterday involved not paying $20 for two tacos at the airport and eating a Kind Bar I got at the United Club instead. I wasn't actively seeking alcohol at 8AM,but the fact the bar in the club was closed made it hard to get a Diet Coke.
Got a couple loads of wash done to keep dad off the stairs to the basement and took him out for dinner at a Mexican place they like. It's good, but about middle of the road compared to what we have in Texas.
Will be working from Louisville today - meetings must be met and such - and helping Dad figure out what the mounds of paperwork are in the house that are piling up.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Made it home about 9 last night. We spent the weekend in an aging "resort" in a small fishing/surfing town over on the coast. The WiFi was painfully slow and spotty, so I did little checking in online. We did some fishing, some crabbing, some beach walking, had several large meals in quaint restaurants, and several other scenic picnics. All-in-all Rita said it was the best birthday she ever had, so a good way to celebrate her 70th.
I am looking forward to picking Sassy up from the pet lodge, this morning. I miss my dog.2 -

Prayers for you Lou, handling paperwork for father; had to handle all of father's paperwork after mother passed, he could not even write a check, and after I sorted everything when I returned, he had mixed everything together again.
Glad Rita enjoyed Birthday.

We took a much needed nothing day. It was nice. Finished watching the tour de france but little else was accomplished.
Today I have many things on my to do. First is a bike ride before it gets too hot.

- It's Monday, which meant breakfast with the ROMEOs.
- A belated Happy Birthday to Rita. Sounds like you had a great weekend and I'm sure Sassy will be glad to get home.
- Skip, I imagine you had a grand time at the Nationals game Saturday. They beat up on the Giants.
- Lou has become a real Texan, bragging about their TexMex.
- Down days are good.

Temps outside are bearable now thats its 7:20pm aka 1920. I just trimmed all my plants on front porch and front flower beds. Then watered some. Which I will do in the morning again. Its hot here.
Ds2 had his 33rd bday today. Had a nice little celebration for him with a doz of us yesterday. His baby is doing great as is momma.
They may venture to the lake with us for one night this weekend.
Can't wait to hear Lee's baby announcement
Looks like our biker friends Raine and Tom are off to stripe at Sturgis traveling in an awesome Setup! Woohoo!
