    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • For you working stiffs, welcome to the weekend.
    • Celebration of Life today for my neighbor who passed away.
    • DB got a picc line installed yesterday so he can get an IV infusion twice daily at home.
    • Awaiting good news from Germany.
    • Hopefully Lou and Skip are behaving themselves. Well, not too much.

    Morning~

    Missed a full day. Quite a start to celebrating pal's 50th weekend! Some beach time and some good NC Q'ue for dinner! The remainder of our time is working on erecting a tower.

    Several small tasks to get done around the homestead, today. The painter promises to come over this morning to finish the touchups. I hope he shows up, this time. I am eager to see this thing done.

    Good morning

    A cool 65F sunny Saturday morning at the lake, after 90F+ yesterday with big thunderstorms around 10pm into night. We have power. 80,000 in SE Wisconsin weren't so lucky. An RV isn't the best place to be. If we ever want to take cover, a neighbor has extended their basement to us.

    Prayers for the family in Germany, baby boy comes soon, and excited to hear some news. Becoming a grandparent is amazing. My little Tony has stole my heart already!

    My agend today.... is spray paint some firepit second hand chairs I picked up, And put a second coat of accent pine green on my shed door that I didn't finish in fall. Dh is going to mow the new lot next door with the dudes rider we bought from him, see how that works. Then a boat ride.

    Good morning.

    I'm being remarkably well-behaved to this point. That will change tonight with a trip to the Brazilian steakhouse. 😉

    First chemo treatment is done for DMIL. It took 7 hours because there's more than 1 med in your first appointment. The next three appointments will be 2 hours long and then the cycle repeats.

    Mary talking about storms in Wisconsin and Texans are looking at this 5-day projection.

    Once again Harley dealership has over promised and not delivered. Carried Toad up there yesterday when promised would only take an hour, got there yesterday morning about 10 minutes after they opened; they told me several who had made appointments did not show up. But they could not get to mine till 3, it would take 2 and 1/2 hours and would call when I could pick up. Still have not heard from them but have left several messages because service will not pick up the phone.
    Looks as a decent tower has begun, be safe Skip.
    Lou, being good has no rewards; enjoy but have a designated driver.
    Hope your painter shows Dave.
    Another lot to keep cut and maintained plus you get to pay taxes on it.
    As we age, we all have more funerals and more celebrations of life to attend; specially living in 55 plus communities.
    Prayers for Dennis's brother and Lou's DMIL. Also for Lee's DDIL and upcoming birth of DGS.
    DW opened front door to go to mailbox, she was greeted by a little over 5 foot black snake, I took mail to box returning to front porch snake was gone. Hope he does not go to neighbors yard they do not understand there are some good snakes. DW is not fond of them either.

    Afternoon all

    We were up at 5 to drive an hour for a hike to a clay cave. It is only opened a few times a year. Short hike but it was HOT before we got back to the car. Saw 3 rattlesnakes and 2 desert tortoises.

    Then we browsed around two touristy areas on the way home.

    Still no grandbaby.
    We are trying to walk the baby out of her to no avail. DDIL is so ready, its not even funny.
    Those cans suggest a lot of trips into the ocean to dilute the salinity.
    Prayers for your DMIL, Lou. Tough stuff.
    Ugh, sounds like you are at their mercy, Sam. Maybe mention a yelp review?
