Good morning gentlemen.
Up early on purpose today. I have a 7 o'clock appointment for an MRI of my lower back. I want time to enjoy my morning coffee and have breakfast, so ...
The painting contractor finally came over and did the last touch-ups. Of course, he was an hour late getting here. I am glad that is done.
I'll get in some shop time, today, then take a nap, I think.0 -

Sam, that trike repair scenario is worse than going to the DMV to renew a license.
Cool dry air breezed in after downpours and thunderstorms last night. It's like heaven this morning compared to the stifling heat and humidity we’ve had for weeks.
Hope Lee’s DDIL goes into labor soon…
My hip feels a little better after yesterday’s more strenuous hike. I’ll continue working it a bit more every day and hope the pain goes away or at least minimizes.
I got a trial version of some new piano tuning software I hope to use on DS’s piano. Looks a lot easier than the other ones I’ve tried. Runs on my phone and has glowing reviews from professional tuners.

Morning,
Not going to make it to church this morning, DW is insisting I go to urgent care. Something popped in left hip yesterday causing me to fall in kitchen; whole left side and neck hurts, tore leg on cabinet.
Prayers continue for those in need.

I did outside work yesterday, so today will be more about in the house chores. Still, it is a bit cooler this morning so I think that I'll go weed the tomatoes.

No baby yet. Tomorrow is day 9 overdue. Will induce if no baby on day 10.

Been using trekking poles like a hiking nerd, but they are helpful. Can almost keep up and go as far with DW with them.

Hoping for the best with your MRI Dave. 7 a.m. is early.
My follow-up appointment after eye surgery on Tuesday will be at 8:30 which is plenty early since we need to drive there. My surgery is Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. so not so bad except no food or drink since midnight except a bit of water before 10 a.m..
Hangin' in there for sure.

Sam, falling is never a good thing. I hope they figure out what "popped" and why you went down so they can get you patched up and on the road to recovery.
Lee, in the end she will be worth waiting for.
Dave, I hope the MRI went well. I have had a few of my lower back. I hope you were able to remain comfortable while trying to lie still.
My energy levels remain low, though Heather did get me out for a walk before dinner. I think I am ready to bump up to a longer distance since my back seemed OK with the walk. I slept like a rock last night, almost 8 hours, even with some unplanned napping yesterday. Not sure what the day will bring.0 -

MRI went fine, I guess. I fell asleep. I have had a lot of them over the years. I think my providers are more likely to order expensive tests because there are no insurance companies to deal with. If they think they need a test, they order it. Anyway, I should hear something by midweek.
