    I imagine camping weather will be nice in a couple of weeks.
    Weather is cool and partly cloudy today. Hoping to get to hold my grandson today.

    I took Frankie out this morning in a light rain. We are past the heat wave at least for the next week. The humidity is still very high, but the heat index should stay below 100 for a while.

    Bill, it is encouraging how you are walking half an hour again. That really is good to hear.

    Sam, I didn't realize that your neck was worse than your hip. Get well soon!

    I hope that we hear encouraging words from Bob soon.

    Still no word on the MRI. Today, I have a follow-up with my gastro enterologist. Too many doctor's appointments. I'll put a couple coats of finish on the legs of DGD's stool, today.

    I am hoping you get your Grandpa time in with the little one today Lee.

    Taking today off from walking and will do some strength indoor workouts in its place but space them out. We ran some errands yesterday and I was a near zombie by the late afternoon. I am not enjoying that feeling too much. Heather is off to visit a friend she used to work with, so I will do some work around the house and start tuning my Dulcimer but take 2 days to do it. I got some Dr appts to schedule since we will be around a while.

    Continue to pray for Bob and all those who are fighting the good fight

    Eye so far so good post op. Have a freeze dried amniotic membrane (actually 2 sheets covering the surgical "wound" where they excised some conjunctival and corneal epithelium.
    Also come sort of contact lens and use a plastic shield at night whilst sleeping. Will be a few days for the path report. The procedure went pretty well indeed. Yup too many Dr appts for sure.

    Hope you are doing Better Bill. No good being a zombie although I was one right after surgery myself.

    Hope your MRI is ok Dave.

    Off for mild mostly chair yoga today.

    Guten Abend.

    Another cool sunny day here. Making dehydrated lasagna from a new camping cookbook. Need to get over to see DGS before he leaves for Ecuador on the 20th. Doing a year of mission/service work in the barrios of Quito.

    Prayers for all the ills here, as well as for the newbie and his family over in Germany.
