Wadsworth was not even considered, but would indeed look good on Legal Letterhead. LOL. If, and when, another comes along, I imagine he/she will be named after DDIL's side of the family.

Hoping Ron's fever is down today. Did you get to go for a swim, Steph?
DDIL's parents arrived and are staying at the kid's apartment, so they are taking care of their humongous hounds. DDIL and DGS coming home today. Doing some shopping for a big dinner tonight at their apartment.
DGS was born in a German hospital. Somehow, the addition to the German draft is no longer an issue. I am not sure of the particulars. I do know that there was a lot of paper work DS#1 had to do at the hospital. There was so much going on, I did not want to distract him.

I'm at our happy place, the lake. Ds2 and ddil are chomping at the bit to get up here. They may attempt to today just for one night, see how it goes with baby and all. You know I'll be happy to assist

The greatest kindness you'll be able to do for the new parents is pre-cook a couple weeks worth of meals and get them in the freezer. Babies in the hospital are easy; at home, not so much.
Prayers that our BBB'ers and families are on the mend. 🙏
#SummerOfLou is about going with a friend to a Mediterranean buffet for lunch today. Another friend recommended it, but he eats like a starving college student, so there's no guarantee that the place is *actually* good. Costco is on the way back home, so if Cecilia gives me a list by then, I'll stop there a s deal with the Saturday insanity.0 -

Finally found time to finish up the stool I am giving my granddaughter for her 10th birthday, next week. She loves cats and has cat images everywhere. When I sliced through this cherry log and saw the shape of the heart wood, I thought, "A cat!" Rita suggested making a stool. The top is about 20 inches, from "ear to ear." The stool is about the same, in height. It's unique, if nothing else.
