Girls and I had a nice reunion last night. Dog training this morning. Thunder storms this afternoon.
Tomatoes are coming in. Caprese salad for lunch. Will probably do a BLT this weekend.
Gotta let the docs check you out, Sam. Gather info and listen to recommendations. Then YOU decide on on what or if to do anything different.
I know I would be ecstatic with that stool, Dave. I bet DGD will be too.
How was lunch, Steve. One or two martinis? Any word on your Civic?
Sorry about the tri-tip and the failure of the back up plan. Hope the tramadol got you back on track.
Mike, you would have been in baked goods temptation hell in Bavaria. I know I was. Bread and confections galore.
Hope the follow up with the eye guy went well, Bob.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning!

I ended up spending three hours yesterday with the company owner and the bankers. It was a good productive meeting and lunch. We had sushi. No cocktails, just water and tea. As a side note, I promised not to drink alcohol in memory of my children. I have not had a drink now in 12 years. I miss beer once in a while, but overall, I'm happy with that pledge. I know that I'm in a good place for work. I received praise from the owner of the company, and the bankers.

I still think something is wrong with the car, but not sure what. It drives more smoothly, but if the driver's window is down, and I'm up next to a building or something, I can hear a rubbing noise in the front left tire.

I'm still in the dog house at home. Sigh....

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Taking Sassy to the vet, this morning, for her annual checkup and shots. I'll ask if they can trim her nails, too. Last time we did that we over-trimmed and she was bleeding all over the place.

After Sassy's appointment, I need to head up to the Army hospital to pick up a prescription and make an appointment for an MRI of my kidneys. I also got a call yesterday from the neurosurgery clinic and now have an appointment next week, to evaluate my disc issues.

I will be going for a hike with my DS on Saturday. He has managed to ski every month for the last two years. For this month he has his eye on a snow field on the northwest side of Mount Rainier - actually part of the Flet Glacier. We'll hike four miles up to the glacier, then he'll climb up another 1,000 feet and ski down a couple times. We'll make an odd pair on the trail: incredibly fit young guy packing skis, with an old man gasping for breath and trying to keep up.

I can relate Dave, cannot keep up with either of my kids; and at times they do not understand why.
Steve, sometimes it is best to keep on keeping on; they have to be upset with someone might as well be you.
Neck giving me fits today and hip still not doing as I would like.
    Prayers for Bob and Bill.

    Good Morning

Gee Dave, I wonder where your DS gets that from.

I got my pain levels back down yesterday. After another abbreviated walk I rested a bit to let things calm down, did my stretching, rested again and then fired up the TENS with ice and everything calmed down and stayed calmed down. Some days nothing works and some days it just gives up the fight but I am pleased that I was able to stay somewhat active. Heather and I ran errands and had lunch downtown as I reminded her shopping on weekends is not worth it. My goulash came out great as well. Fatigue from my treatment and lack of sleep from pain cashed their check. I slept for 9 hours last night. I feel pretty darn good. Tonight really is tri-tip night since there was a sale and the weather has cooled off.
