    G'Morning & Happy TGIF!
    • Up early to go to get MRI (40 miles away to get to the facility with opening this morning)
    • Headed to friends Eastern Shore home tonight for the weekend. Not going to be able to do too much with back jacked up, but we'll muddle through
    • Hot and Humid in store all weekend

    40 miles to get an MRI? Must be a super special lower lumbar imaging device that won't mess with your already implanted hardware. Best of luck.

    10 days at the lake. Relaxation and fun.
    Dog training turned hot and muggy yesterday. Nothing like sweat and DEET spray getting into your eyes. Dogs had fun and got to swim in pond before and after each training run.

    I have a funeral visitation today and a wedding rehearsal dinner to help set up for. Envy me too.

    Tomorrow is the actual funeral and wedding. Weird.

    Hope the MRI proves helpful, Skip. I have an appointment with neurosurgery for evaluation of the lumbar MRI I had a couple weeks ago. Enjoy your weekend at the shore.

    Many happy memories linked to a mix of DEET and sweat, Lee. Tomorrow I am making a switch and trying out picaridin to hold off the biting bugs on a hike in the Cascades. I have been worried about DEET damaging my hearing aids. I remember a drop of 100% DEET eating a hole in the dash of my car, when I was in Alaska.

    Good Afternoon,
    It's been a wet morning, sun shining now, rain predicted to return about 4.
    Looking out back, deer had a very large meal off my tomatoes last night and this morning.
    Laundry and packing no envy here.
    Ten days at lake where lawn and work has already been done sounds superb, now if someone will come in to prepare meals and clean up.
    At least Ashville is generally about 15 degrees cooler than here, have a safe return.
    Don't like funerals there seems to be more as I age, working a wedding can be lots of work and nothing seems to satisfy many brides.

    Good afternoon

    My stuff is packed at the edge of the garage door, just awaiting dh to finish his work day at 2:30p. and we're off. First 4 days alone, then six final days with company and their littles, not to mention baby Tonys first trip to lake yay! Definitely fishing with my new hummingbird finder!

    Wishing all the best in MRi, hiking, packing, dog play, motorbike rides,, gambling, new church services, and everything BBB has going on...

    Sad to see the deaths and destruction on Maui

    Hope the little Ladd in Germany is doing well, and his folks Too!
