Down 5 lbs after Germany. Guess I need to do more walking with trekking sticks.
I was joking about the martini lunch, Steve. That used to be a real thing way back then but thankfully is frowned upon now. But thanks for the reminder about your pledge, I had forgotten.
Hot day dog training yesterday.

Good morning gentlemen.
Between taking Sassy to the vet, picking up prescriptions and making an MRI appointment on post, then doing yard work, I had a full day yesterday.
Sassy was not happy at the vet. She really didn't want to be separated from me, so I had to put her on the scale to be weighed and had to hold her for her shots and blood test. I was surprised by the degree of anxiety she showed. The doc says she is a couple pounds overweight, too. We both need more exercise.

Gosh Lee I guess the BB&B diet plan works!!! (Bavarian Brats and Beer). I find I snack less when traveling (especially outside our country) which helps. Between walking and less snacking I either lose a pinch or don't usually gain.
Glad you are doing a pinch better with the back Bill
Off for two Dr appts today. Glaucoma specialist and urologist. Hope I don't mix them up grin....0 -
Mornin’
PT doesn’t want to see me for 2 weeks, and meanwhile I’m to get strict about doing my elbow therapy workout daily.
My hip is still a problem, and they suggested I contact my doctor about an eval and PT for that. After only a 3 mile walk it was very sore. Ughhh
Going to a drone demonstration at DGS’s last day of “drone camp”. With 10 year old kids flying drones I’ll probably go wearing a helmet.
Good luck at all the doctor visits, MRIs, etc.0 -
Good Morning
Well done Lee. The arrival of Laddy and dropping 5lbs while in Germany is about as good as a trip can get.
Last nights Tri-Tip was one of my better efforts. I got the coals at a low enough temperature to allow it to cook slowly before going for the char. I continue to battle through and get my daily workouts in. Walking is still limited to what the back will tolerate. I can go just under 30 minutes at a pace before I am in trouble. I am almost up to an hour a day of workouts. I am not winning the battle with the fatigue side effect of my treatment plan, so not much gets done in the afternoon when I fade. I rally to make dinner and pray and then fade again. But I am pushing ahead. Weight is up and down but overall holding. Hopefully I can get it going down a bit if I stay the course.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Hope all have a pain free weekend.0
