    Lots of driving yesterday, but a pleasant visit down in Salem, with my family.

    Today will be devoted to whatever Rita wants to do.

    Hotter than Heck here again. Yesterday the official feels like was 118 which is a new record feels like in KC. At one point, our back yard registered 127 feels like in the sun. Today is supposed to be hotter. Dew points have been 78 to 80. It is just nasty out. We are in an excessive heat warning until Friday. Ugh.

    I baked a new hamburger pasta casserole last night. It was good.

    Bill, I'm sorry to hear about the setback with the epidural. My prayers for you continue.

    Good Morning

    Pain spike has ended it seems out of the blue. Yesterday was the best day I have had in a bit. Feeling pretty good today too. Heather was asked to babysit for a young girl she knew from preschool days last night. She also used to do some after school care for her at time. They went out for ice cream and came over here at her request. She is quite a talker so it is always fun hanging with her. She introduced us to an Ed Sheeran series on Disney Plus. Lots of fun. I am not sure what today brings.
