Evening Hello Team,
It’s hard to believe that August has come to an end and tomorrow morning will be the first day of September. August passed by so fast and in a few short hours September will be here.
Congratulations on finishing Strong for the Month of August. You worked hard in meeting all your goals.
This next month we are going back to basics with working on our Nutrition and Fitness. Let’s push forward in improving our overall health.
Small steps bring great dividends. As we stick with it and keep focused on eating healthy, exercising daily we will feel better and look that much better.
So who is with me? Let’s Make September Great and Finish September Strong!
Team Goals #1 For Nutrition
- aim to drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water or more per day
- Track your calories per day
- Aim to eat 5 servings or more in a combo of fruits and veggies
- Eat at least 25 grams of Fibre per day
Team Goal # 2 For Fitness
- Set a goal in how much weight you want to lose, or if you are on maintenance aim to maintain your optimal weight for the entire month.
- Include Cardio at least 5 days a week, 30 minutes or more per day
- Include Strength Training, 3 days a week, 20 minutes or more if you can do more, that’s great! (Spark People Video includes Dumb Bells for upper body strength training and fitness)

For me I am working on Strength Training and Cardio, and Nutrition to Nourish my body preparing for surgery on the 12th.
This week I am adding 1 extra Veggie and 1 Extra Fruit to my Pureed Soups and Smoothies!
