Happy Labor Day Weekend!
- Rallied community and got approved to keep our community pool open through 17th! Yea!
- Not much on radar. SIgned up for a car show at favorite brewery tomorrow. Pool afterwards maybe.
- Off to get injection this morning.
- Light day.

Back from Chicago and my liver is resting comfortably. Cecilia's back and the house once again looks like a bomb went off inside.
No idea what we're going to do with the weekend.0 -

Spine pain center said I was a good candidate for surgery. I said I wanted to go slow on that and to try epidural injections first. They'll call to set up an appointment for the procedure.
Got in the shop for a while and did some turning: a small Christmas tree from a piece of English laurel that has been on the floor next to my lathe for two years.0 -

Suns up at the lake and I have my Joe brewing. Pike Place, my fav.
Weather is going to bevdry and hot, 89F today and 99F by Sunday. We got a pool guest pass for the weekend too. The lake is bad this time of year with algae yuck. But boating is still Good!

Good Morning.
2/3's of 2023 gone, reckon I'm old time passes too fast.
DW went and saw DMIL yesterday morning, then DMIL called DW about one and told her lady at personal care home wanted her to check her blood pressure. Home never told her that they have machine that checks blood pressure. Her blood pressure was 140/78, pretty good for a 95-year-old. 4:30 DMIL called again said she was dying. DW heads back to home and DMIL makes three calls to DW while her is driving five miles to home. Takes her to urgent care, cannot find anything wrong with her but could have a UTI where she pees in pads and will not go to bathroom.
I had a meeting in Athens last night about 45 minutes away, DMIL tries to call me.
At gym at five this morning, way too early to be up for this retired person.
Hope backs are better soon.

Have not heard when our pool will be closed, last year closed early September while we were still having 90 degree weather.
Need to be like Kelly and have our own pool that we can control, warm enough here to keep pool open till November and open late March.0 -
