Good morning.
Labor Day weekend for me has been all about napping. Just ask my Garmin how many steps I've been short of goal every day since I got back to Austin. 😉
Nothing on tap other than services this morning. We wandered ritizier neighborhoods of Austin yesterday dreaming of spending lottery winnings before remembering that if we had that kind of money, we wouldn't live in Austin anyway.0 -

Labor Day already geez?! Sees it was just 4th of July
I'm only one up here so far. Even baby is still sleeping.
Unbearably hot here yesterday. In Air-conditioning with baby and to pool, then dinner out to beat heat. Lake water is evaporating and its low level causing us to have issues mooring it. It may get trailed up today. Hmmmm. Kids go home today. Me and DH tomorrow sometime before dinner.
Enjoy a day of no labor!

Morning BBB
Nothing on tap for today. Did a pantry inventory yesterday and planned meals gor the next two week. Hope to not move much to the condo in Scottsdale. Looks like I did pretty good on everything except green beans. Getting a case at Costco may not have paid off.
Bagged up a few spices to take with us. To get into NZ all powders have to be under 1oz and labeled so got tiny zip bags at sprouts yesterday and made that happen. Realistically I'll be out of some of them before December but I can at leat go to zero waste stores and refill. Trader Joe's Umami is the only thing I probably can't get outside of US. I'm taking two bags of that.0 -

- Late night watching car races and hosting BBQ with friends/neighbors at house last night!
- Clearly Mr. Tucker is NOT a party animal....was perturbed when 9:30 came and went. This morning he's been giving me the business - too funny!
- Hard to believe summer flew by so fast! Safe trek home tomorrow, Mary/Tom!
- WITW is everyone from Indiana?
- Long week ahead. Pool time and leftovers today.

Mornin' BBB.
Just put a rack of very nice baby back ribs on the smoker for the 3-2-1 treatment. M (my DW Mary) picked up for me for under $7 at Aldi the other day.
Went for a nice 1 hour hike with M along a local trout river I fish occasionally. It pleased her. Now to get to work on our storage shed while the ribs go for the slow smoke.
Too funny about Tucker. "9:30 is bedtime! C'mon! It's our routine and I really look forward to it."
Trader Joe's umami powder. Wonder what it's worth in NZ?
FYI Lou, I am a big fan of MLK and napping is highly underrated.

Happy Labor Day BBB Friends.
- I had breakfast with a small group of ROMEOs this morning. Our local cafe is closed for the holiday, so we were at Chick-fil-A.
- Came home and washed the motorbike and DWs golf cart.
- Neighbor passed away last month and DW befriended his niece and husband who are intown settling the estate. We dined with them at a local Mexican joint last night.
- I'm with Tucker, don't mess with my routine.
- Enjoy what's left of the holiday BBB.

I had breakfast with ROMEO's from neighborhood this morning since I did not have yoga class today. Met a neighbor I had not met before.
Back ribs on smoker for tonight,
DMIL called all upset because she had a coke explode and shot on wall and carpet. Cannot decide what she expects me to do about it, was thinking about getting her for supper; believe I'll skip.
Nothing planned for today, friend invited us to pool but they are planning a large crowd.0
