    You should buy a Slip & Slide, Lee! What could possibly go wrong with people over 40 hurling themselves onto a slick plastic mat in the yard? 😂

    Busy day at work yesterday and quiet evening last night. We raised a glass (or 2, in my case) to mom last night and told some stories.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    That makes me think: I need to pack our Slip 'N Slide away for the year.

    Caught one nice trout, yesterday, and had several bites, before the lake became very quiet. I enjoyed my morning, watching clouds and ospreys, then went home.

    I have two meetings at church, today. The building and grounds committee meets this afternoon, then the church elders have a special meeting to start the process of getting an interim pastor for when our pastor leaves in November.

      • Tried my hand in the Bocce league here at Del Webb last night. Its fun and these people are ruthlessly competitive! Haaa.
      • Another 100+ here today too. Yesterday was just stifling! Sickening hot/humid. Glad the pool is still open for extended season, though closes at 4p. I don't/won't get there today due to work schedule.

    • I got to catch up on some sleep this morning.
    • We have another day or two of 90° temperatures and then the 80s are back. Fall is coming.
    • Happy anniversary Steph. It's been 6 years for me. The work world is becoming a distant memory.
    • We are fortunate Dave to have a couple of retired ministers in our congregation.
    • Last report the Codgers are at the Pacific Crest Lodge at Stephens Pass.
