    G'Morning~
    • Had never heard of the Codgers.....what a great story!
    • Sad to watch the 6:30 news last night. 9-11 tributes/remembrance was the 5th story for the evening - behind PA inmate escapee, earthquake overseas, and teacher shortages......🤬🤬🤬
    • Hoping all went well for Mr. Crozier yesterday!
    • DW off to substitute today.

Thought for the day: When that morning coffee nails the trifecta - perfect flavor, perfect temperature, and perfect consistency - you just know it's going to be an incredible day ahead! ☕✨

So, here's to hoping that today is YOUR perfect coffee moment kinda day! Embrace the positivity, savor every moment, and make the most of the wonderful opportunities that come your way.

Wishing you a day as excellent as that perfect cup of coffee!

    CBL~

    Good morning.

Brazilian news led with devastating flooding in the south of the country followed by 9/11,Skip.

Yesterday was kind of a strange day. There was a baby naming at the synagogues. So I'm leading services to honor my mother while celebrating a new life. Saying kaddish was not easy.

    Good morning

Boiling beets, slicing cucumbers and thawing chicken breast for griiling to have for dinner. All before 0630.

Looks like Jim's surgery went well, prayers for his recovery go up.

    Aaron Rodgers. Wow. Unfortunate.

    Be well BBB

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • The day started with my Emmaus Group which is always good.

I wasn't in the grocery store yesterday to witness this, but someone posted it on a neighborhood bulletin board.

    Thank You Publix
Kudos to Manager Paul Higgins who asked for a moment of silence yesterday at the store at the time the first plane hit the World Trade Center on 9/11.
So touching to see everyone throughout the store take a moment to stop and remember the innocent lives lost that day.

    Good Afternoon,
Got Toad out and road about forty miles for a haircut. Believe she cut it too close, tomorrow it will be sticking out every which way. Stopped in Aldi for some fresh veggies, since deer cleaned my garden.
Personal training guy cancelled on me again. Will still have yoga class at five.
I like that Publix all except their prices, they need a competitor nearby.
90's today, upper 80's tomorrow then highs predicted 83 for next week.
DW dealing with DMIL still trying to get her Medicaid fixed where she told them she had all sorts of money which knocked her off; She did have money back in 70's through 90's but when one spends over a $100,000 a year it cannot earn enough replenish.
Prayers for Jim and Crozier family.

    Good afternoon BBB friends.

Prayers and hugs for Lisa and Jim.

Chaos reigns on the Strip. Hackers got into the MGM computer system. Now nothing works. We got our comped hotel room, but can't charge anything to the room, so can't use all the resort credit they are supposed to give us. Many of the slot machines don't work either. On the positive side, we can't lose when we don't play, and Rita's free drinks are twice the size and stronger than normal. Trying to make the patrons happy. My alcohol-free beers are the same as usual. They did give us a couple $50 food vouchers to help make up for our missing credits and rewards. MGM casinos are losing millions every hour this goes on. Keeping a happy face on it all. It's still fun getting away from the house.
