LOL...I may have given the wrong impression when discussing the young partner doctor being off and trying to get pregnant. Not sure why she took this week off, could be she is doing in-vitro procedures, but I think it is just time off with family. She has announced she is actively trying to get pregnant and suggested to me, 30 years her senior, that I should schedule my knee replacement ASAP in case she is successful because she plans to take off the last month of pregnancy and first three months of newborn.
We are all rolling our eyes. Can't believe the company gave her partner doctor status when they hired her, she clearly is not even a good associate. She isn't bringing in enough production to cover her salary and is pissing off clientele and coworkers. If I said "sayonara", the practice would crash. Oy.
Bob, that is a conundrum. I am sure you will make the right decision for you.
Bill, I can't remember, but have they discussed/performed nerve ablation?
8 miles is a good amount of walking on a casino getaway.
COVID is indeed making a comeback. I have my paxlovid handy if I test positive. How are you feeling, Sam?
Beautiful day dog training yesterday, although ground is still a bit squishy from all the rain. Finally rebuilt the celtic altar birdbath over the above ground well pipe now that we are confident we do not need any more well work.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning,
    Sam is feeling good.
Up at gym at 5 this morning, not working out but running their 15th credit/debit cards. Then had to put blocks on all decline accounts. Will close month October 1st since usual person is on vacation.
Sorry about having to have radiation Bob, but better be safe than sorry.
Hope you don't come down with COVID Mike, I learned last week it is not fun.
Sorry you are having to work tomorrow Lee. Your issue Lee is you care too much about customers and their pets when no one else does; seems new owners only concern is dollars and do not understand building customer base and loyalty.
    Cloudy drizzling day here

    Good morning gentlemen.

Glad we are going home today. Wish our flight was earlier. Our takeoff is at 5:30, this afternoon. DDIL is meeting us at the airport in Seattle. I imagine we'll get home around 10. Always makes for a long day.

We did another slow jaunt down the way, yesterday - another 8 miles. Hips and leg were troublesome, but not quite as bad as the day before. Still, it made for another early evening for a Vegas vacation. We were in our room by 8. I just couldn't walk around anymore.

Standing and walking can be hard indeed.
That just suxxxxx Lee having someone who isn't more committed to the job at hand. Sadly my oncologist isn't quite so keen about paxlovid.

    Hang in there everybody

    Good Morning

    Safe travels home Dave.

Lee, I get a nerve ablation about every year or so an get epidurals in between to calm the muscles, etc down. Last RFA was in May. Helped a lot.

I am hearing more COVID stories. Yesterday I found out my brother in law just tested positive after coming home from a family gathering. His daughter had a cold tested and positive a couple days later and then he did. I just had a call from my Pain Dr any minute at her request. She is changing up my pain meds to something I haven't heard of if it gets approved. Sounds pricey but I don't care at present. She also made sounds about reducing my Gabapentin which I wasn't happy about. We shall see. I am not sure what the day brings. Depends on how my back holds up.

    G’ Evening gents.

Puttered around until this afternoon then drove to Audubon sanctuary two towns away for a hike. Place was empty. At the farthest part I heard mooing, bellowing and bugling from the woods on the far side of a beaver pond. Moose, I think.

DGD is doing fine, I heard, and just home till her waiting time is up so she can get back to college. Sam, glad to hear you’re feeling better.
