    • MM - welcome! We missed you! Yea, I told him that would be perfect, but he's the most sought after Neurologist/Ortho guy in the region. Took a long time to get in with him (and I even played the "Dr. Powers card"
    • Long day yesterday. If people knew the manhours wasted in lapse of funding shutdown - they'd go bananas! Another long day is ahead today too! Ugh.
    • Sassy on beach pics - requested (again) 😎.
    • Dennis - when will another four-legged fren grace your home and become a puppy lottery winner too?

    I am confused about which day of the week today is.
    I understand government is a necessary evil, and I got disgusted with it long ago and really try to not pay much attention to the drama because there is nothing I can do about it except vote my conscience and support the efforts of people and programs that try and mentor young folks interested in government.

    We get almost daily photos and videos of Laddy. DIL is amazing. Growing like a weed and ticking off all the boxes developmentally.
    Sassy in a yellow rain coat? Dead seagulls. Heaven.

    It's Groundhog Day.. Again. It is Wednesday, right? πŸ˜‚

    My father had his appointment to track blood flow in his leg yesterday. The followup is Friday and the surgeon is not going to say anything he wants to hear. My father was maybe sort of okay with taking the leg under heavy local anesthesia, but he doesn't want to be put under general and have tubes inserted, so what they'll recommend will be a non-starter for him.

    I apologize, but I didn't take a single photograph the entire weekend. You'll just have to use your imagination to get an image of a blissfully happy golden retriever racing around a stormy beach at top speed. The yellow raincoat might be hard to picture.

    We're home to rainy, windy Tumwater, now. I plan to spend my day in the shop, freeing mushrooms and Christmas trees from the branches where they are hidden.

    . We've been binging Bones at our house. Started the final season last night.

    I'm going with the birthday "cake" recommendation Dennis gave, for ds1. It'll be German Chocolate. A nod in his deceased Dads direction, as that was his favorite. I'll let ds1 know that tidbit.

    Its pouring rain here a second morning in a row and we need It!

    Good to hear from Grampa Lee, Laddy is doing great!

    Did I hear Dennis is in the market for a puppy.... oh wait ...that was a nudge made by a friend!

    Hope Sam and dw are enjoying their beach vacation!

    Bikes hopefully get home today for Steph!

    Kelly is full on marrying off her boys?! :smiley:

    Sassy sure loves those Grandkids, Dave. All are blessings!

    Good Afternoon from cloudy Gulf Coast,
    Plan is to stay till Saturday, but subject to change.
    Our house stays much cleaner without a four legged friend and especially without DMIL. She has not bugged us this week, DS may be catching her antics.

    Should be fun at game Friday night. Ds1 is coming and got us 8 tix, he knows a guy.
