    Steph, so sorry about Ron and plans. Praying that they figure it out soon and he is back to making monster bike rides.
    Dog trial this weekend, bit of a mud fest. Good times with pups.

    • Steph/Ron - ugh. So sorry! I Hope Ron feels better soon! Please give us an update on how he is!
    • I was not remembering 4.13.23 (but what a great day for a wedding)! I'm sure you'll all find a great venue! In-laws at Thanksgiving....what could go wrong? "..... that's not how we mash our potatoes; that's not creamed butter; is that cranberry from a can!!!!" lol! Nope!
    • Had great weather yesterday. Me and my best friend took a ride and hit the brewery for a few hours:

    Good morning.

    I took out some aggression on the wild tomato bed in front of the house on Friday and my back still hurts. Needed to be done because it over grew onto the sidewalk which meant we couldn't get dad's wheelchair to the house that way. Now we just need to salt the earth so it doesn't come back...

    We picked up plywood planks for Dad's bed yesterday to lay over the bed frame so could take out the box spring. Lowering things by 7-8 inches is just about what he needs to make it easier to get in and out of bed. Now he has to train himself on how to grab things differently when he gets up, but I think it'll be okay.

    Afternoon all.

    Ron took a small walk with me this morning so I see that as progress. He is napping now.

    I got him a quart of ice cream this week and he has has at least two bowls a day with either peanuts and caramel or granola. Getting him to eat something is good. He is eating about 1/4 of normal meals so I was hoping the ice cream would tempt his appetite. It used to be a staple before we started eating vegan.
