G'Morning BBB~
- DMIL ortho went well. Still don't want her doing surgery at her age so still using sling and begin hand PT. Thanks for all the well wishes. She's grateful!
- Dennis - safe trek, pal! If you pass through Haymarket, Lemme introduce #MotherTucker and show you some VA Del Webb hospitality!
- Finished with all pre-op interviews - ready for next week. Was hopeful for cancellation this week to slide in early - alas, no go!
- How's Ron? Any update. What's this mean for your plans?
- Big backyard project begins today for me and 6 neighbors. Grading is terrible and being at the "low end" of a knoll, my yard gets washed out. FINALLY getting some resolution!
Cheers,

Good morning BBB
Rainy day here, mid 70s. Im not complaining, we need it with these low lake levels statewide.
Granddog may come with dh and I to lake this weekend. Her family has all day plans and she'd be alone too long.
Have a great trip to celebrate your brother's birthday...Dennis!
Hope those ill, get well soon!0 -
Good morning.
The weather folks are threatening us with a good time as a cold front is allegedly coming in. Rumor has it this may be our last 90° day for a while AND that we'll get rain!0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Today is Flu shot and RSV vaccine day for us. Double dipping, so both shoulders can be sore at the same time.
Glad your DMIL is improving, Skip. Hoping your surgery goes well next week.

Ron had a full eye exam yesterday. Did get a new prescription and told to wear glasses full time now not just for reading and driving. No major issues. Today a doctor appointment. She is our concierge doctor we used for 2021. Couldn't get in with a GP/internalist until February. Hopefully she can be his advocate.
I was googling long covid last night and he presents with many of the symptoms even though we didn't know he ever had covid itself. Mild cold last June but didn't have major covid symptoms so we didn't take a test.
Our plans are blown up. Australia/NZ is out. Our international health coverage is only good for 6 months in the US so we have to leave by mid November. We came to FL to get residency and get an ACA plan if needed, if he needs longer treatment. After his appointment today we will hopefully have a few more answers.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Happy Humping0 -
Good afternoon.
Wow Steph. Seems like a lot of wheels are turning. The most important thing is that Ron gets better.
So, the wedding is April 13th and still no venue. No rehearsal dinner venue either. I have to wait. For those who don’t know their venue canceled on them last week. 6 months out. Un F ing believable. There. Finally said it.
Ds1 and his gf will be here all weekend. Looking forward to the visit.

100% know this must be stressful.
100% know that MommaMoody is a force to be reckoned with and will prevail!
Not happy with builder who had to tear up my lot and SIX more to redo grading for drainage flaws! My sprinkler and fence are toast - let alone my patience! Ugh!

Wow Skip. Crazy.
Hoping you find the perfect venue Kelly. How stressful.
Ron's appointment went well. The benefit to the concierge doctor is that they make lots of time for you. We were there almost 2 hours. MRI scheduled for tomorrow. She thinks his issues are tied to sleep. We go back on Tuesday to review blood work results and MRI.
Today laying low. He took melatonin last night and slept decent but he is really effected by any drugs so is pretty groggy this am. If he is up to it we'll go for a small walk then I'll walk to grocery store for lunch stuff. We are sharing a fridge with 4 other adults so space is at a premium...I've been shopping every other day or so and cooking much smaller meals due to space. But it's so comfortable here that as of now we aren't looking for other arrangements.
Dad and Missy canceled their flight to New Zealand. Unfortunately they got credit instead of a refund. She wants to go to Europe so I thought I might design them a loop or two. They both are terrible at travel planning.0
