Good morning gentlemen.
Got two vaccinations yesterday: flu and RSV. My shoulder barely ached, but Rita couldn't lift her arm. Luck of the draw, I guess. We have appointments next week to get the latest COVID booster.
Our pastor had a special blessing of the animals in the garden at our church. So now, Sassy has been to church, too.
We're having a short stretch of beautiful weather. It should be 70, today and tomorrow, and might hit 80 on Saturday. They used to call this Indian summer.0 -
Morning…
My fridge fixed itself apparently. No more noise, temp seems fine top and bottom. Maybe it was ice buildup getting hit by the fan. I dunno.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about MnRNA vaccine. Like, if the emergency is over, how did FDA approve emergency use of a new booster?
Out walking on a bike trail before piano class. Cool but sunny; we’re having Indian summer here too.0 -

Good morning!
Mike, sometimes that can be caused by too much dust on the condenser coils. About once a year, I dust really good underneath the fridge, and pull it out and get behind, as well.
We are no longer volunteers for MADD. It is a very different organization than it was when we joined. It is very sad. It really is now about the money with them. They seem to have forgotten the mission with the victims. Connie was asked to sign a waiver saying that if she were hurt at any MADD function that she would not hold them responsible. At the same time, MADD is not coordinating or paying for law enforcement to attend Victim Impact Panels. That is just wrong. So, we don't know what the next chapter holds, but we are moving on from MADD after 8 years of working with them. Next week is the crash anniversary. The timing sucks. We know that we will be able to find ways to honor our children. Each year, Connie buys three boys coats and three girls coats, gloves, and socks, and takes them to the elementary school that Jacob went too. There are children who don't have coats, and the school is very appreciative. This is done anonymously.
Sam, Bill, holding you two in prayer for your healing.
Have a great day!

Good Morning
Steve, I am sorry to hear of the changing culture at MADD. I love the coat, socks and gloves idea.
I am not sure why but I was very sleepy yesterday most of the day. Hopefully today will bring some energy. I have been sleeping well. I will be doing some cleaning today as I try to stay productive. I kept nodding off when I tried to do some reading. Hopefully I will be able to do some reading and writing today.
Quite a fall picture Mike!
Blessings!

Good Morning,
CT this afternoon but doing better can move left arm some without having to use right hand. Trying to lead yoga class with a couple of new folks yesterday, told them to go to warrior one, I raised right arm they raised only right arm; I took my right hand to pickup left arm they done the same thing. finally got them watching others who had been coming a few years. I sat down and just called poses.
Recommend looking into oxygen therapy for healing, also how slowing down breathing increases the oxygen levels in body, In yoga class try to get folks to inhale for count of eight, exhale for count of twelve; three to four breaths per minute. recommend limiting breaths to no more five per minute.
Not only does this increase oxygen but also improves lung capacity and function. Have seen some with cancer use oxygen therapy instead of radiation and chemo and now show no sign of cancer. This is not to tell anyone to skip doctor recommendations, but it does give discussion to have with doctors.0
