    Good morning

I wish I were a govt employee. Dh is off too. I’m working OT.

Good visit with the kids good to see them come and go. Now, the cleanup. Got all the laundry done yesterday. Now, just the general stuff.

Praying for Israel and our leadership

    Good morning.

I spent most of the day ignoring the TV because I didn't want to see video from Israel. Cecilia was glued to the TV.

She's freaking out over it because we've got our trip planned for mid-February and has already declared that we're canceling it. I told her that 4 months is a long time away, but I have a feeling that just like an intifada killed our first attempt at a trip to Israel, that this one will get scrapped too.

    Good morning

    Prayers for Israel

    Fall is definitely here
Turned the gas fireplace on to warm the great room from 60F to 70F this morning. Brrrr

Going to make some low fat crock pot potato soup for dinner.

Columbus Day will always be referred to, and remain Oct 12th to me. I was born on Columbus day, so there. Ridiculous that 50+ years later that changes. No. It remains as was,, in my world.

    Have a great day BBB

    Good morning BBB friends.

Happy Indigenous People Day (spelling no problem). I hear you about Oct. 12, though, Mary. For me the date is always connected with the Columbus Day Storm, 1962, that swept up through Western Oregon, Washington and British Columbia with winds up to 120 mph. I was in junior high (I really am that old).

Rainy, cool day, in the forecast. Shop time, I think, and some grocery shopping. I'll make some soup for supper.

    Happy Columbus Day BBB Friends.
    • I was up way too early making breakfast for the Methodist Men.
    • Came home and I was called on to fix a printer problem for a neighbor. Fortunately it was a quick fix.
    • Got the car washed. It was really dirty after the trip.
    • Completed a fix on the motorbike I started before the trip and broke a clip which I had to order.
    • Hopefully the Braves bounce back tonight.
    • Good luck tomorrow, Skip.
    • The people of Israel are in my prayers.

    Evening all.

Nothing new to report here. Ron had an OK day. 3 small walks total. Middle one was 2 miles or so. I continued on to the grocery store. Sharing a fridge with 6 adults means I shop often.

I haven't been on socials at all today so I know nothing of Isreal. Not sure I want to Google.
