    Didn't sleep well last night.....*kitten* solo-blow prep!
    DSIL here to help with DMIL. DN will drop me off at hospital. DW will come late this afternoon. They changed my surgery time to 1p. Ugh.

    So much for retiring - Powerball still declared no winner last night.

    God luck with surgery Skip.

    It's 8 am here and Ron is still asleep. Not sure if I should be worried or thankful. He NEVER sleeps this late. I can count on one hand the number of times i am up first.

    Our host leaves for work soon and will open the garage door that is right by his head. If that doesn't wake him I will check to make sure he is OK. Need to leave for DR appointment around 11.

    It does appear he came to the couch sometime in the night.

    It's pouring rain in Tumwater, today. Good day for errands. Picking up prescription refills and making a return to the PX.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • SGM, I find it interesting that you go to the PX (Post Exchange) and I go to the BX (Base Exchange) and in reality, they are both AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange System). DW worked at the ones at Rhein Main and Dover.
    • Good luck with the surgery Skip. Should be starting about now.
    • I hope Ron is feeling better.

    Nurse wrote on my Plan of Care board, "Carb Drink" - I said, "Can I request a Pilsner Miller Lite?” - she laughed and said, you get ENSURE (apparently, Carb drink means something different for different people) I pointed out Miller Lite has less carbs. It didn’t work! 🍺Ugh!

    Alas, I got an Italian Shaved Ice with 9p pain meds. I call this a "Mob Shot!" - MUCH BETTER!
