    Good morning!

    I did not get checked in yesterday. It was good to see a flyby from Skip. Thank you all for the kind words and hugs. Yesterday was rough, today is a new day. It has been 13 years since our children were taken from us, and at times it seems like it was yesterday.

    I won't have much time to think about those things today. It has been wild at work. I like it, but it does leave me tired. At times, especially this time of year, I feel all 63 of my years.

    Chilly cloudy and might rain. Yesterday it cleared and got to mid-60s, but days are starting very chilly now. Seems like fall has crashed through the door.

    Piano chords class, then pick up groceries and after lunch do another hike. Trying to learn Beach Boys’ God Only Knows, love the harmonies and chord progressions in it.

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Rain and wind, when I took Sassy out this morning.

    We have an appointment this morning to get our COVID booster. This will be COVID shot No. 6 for us. We have had a half dozen friends test positive in the last three weeks. I am the only member of our extended family who has yet to contract the disease.

    My day will end with a Zoom meeting of the church building and grounds committee, this evening.

    Good Morning

    Heather made it home safe and sound. I am a happy man.

    I slept over 8 hours. I did some of the floors and tested scrubbing the tile grout using a scrub brush attached to a pole. I think it will work if I use a grout cleaner on it. But it did really tire me out. I was sweating like the proverbial pig. Some more cleaning today, some studying/reflecting and banging on the strings. I try to get things done in the AM since my energy levels in the afternoon are low. I will ask the Urologist tomorrow when I go in for the gel barrier if there is any reason I should hold off on the various vaccinations. I think I will try and talk Heather into going for a drive today. Maybe up to the succulent gardens. I need to get out more.
