    Bad insomnia tonight following a super great sleep the other night for 12+hours.

    Good morning.

    Dogs just know, Skip. We watched a show called Explained on Netflix the other day. The episode was on dogs and how they communicate with and understand us. In case you find yourself bored.

    Another attempt was made to look at furniture yesterday and ended in failure. That pairs nicely with trying and failing to find pants that don't make me look like MC Hammer on Saturday.

    Yesterday the Jewish community had a rally at the Capitol for Israel and the counter-protest kicked off a couple hours later across the street. We stopped by, guaged the scene and kept walking. DPS was on top of things, so nothing happened, but I wasn't going to find out the hard way.

    It's a cool, rainy day in Tumwater. What a surprise. No plans for the day. Maybe I'll spend some time making shavings in the shop.

    • As we were finishing up ROMEO this morning about a dozen 20 to 30 year olds came in an took our tables. I gave them the title of WYMEOs (Working Young Men Eating Out).
    • Tucker is a true friend, concerned about his Dad.
    • Glad it turned out peaceful Lou but that did have the recipe for violence.
    • Getting a ready for a run down to Daytona for Biketoberfest at the end of the week.

    Cloudy cool 45F here hopefully will make upper 50s today. The fall colors are peaking to the north.

    Prayers for the civilians in these war zones...and all impacted globally.

    Kelly the chicken is nothing fancy. Raw Breast tenderloins in the crockpot with Frank's Buffalo sauce. Shred when cooked. Return to warm pot and juices, stir, adding a bit more sauce to liking.

    I need to get serious about walking everyday and stop making excuses to myself.
