Rise and shine out there…
My ramp building project took so much time I never got out for a hike yesterday. Meanwhile, I did at least fit in the PT stretches for my hip, by just doing them right after breakfast. Not only was the ramp time consuming, the pieces don’t quite fit with each other—there’s gaps in the joints some places. I’ll have to use some shims, or ask my paddling friend who’s a retired carpenter if he would use his planer or belt sander to make some adjustments to the parts; it’s only screwed together, so it can be taken apart to work on more.
Have a good day...0 -
Mornin' gents.
One more day at work and a wake up before road trip to S Dakota. I think my Mary is looking forward to not having to deal with me.
Carpentry projects can be a little frustrating without the right equipment or experience. Kinda like surgery.

Good morning gentlemen.
I'd be happy to open my shop for you, Mike, but there's that 3,000-mile trek to get here.
We took Sassy out for a 2.6-mile walk in the rain, yesterday. That was all I could take. It seems 2 miles is about the point where the pain gets to be more than I want to tolerate.
I have a 4:30 appointment to get an injection on the left side. This one is almost purely diagnostic. The pain on that side isn't nearly as bad as on the right, although in the past it has been pretty bad.0 -

Good Morning
Good Luck with the appointment Dave.
I was really tired most of yesterday. I forced myself out the door to get to the store around the corner but my back got really sore so I rested, slowed down and took my bag of groceries home. Still a little out of it today. Today is set aside for prayer so the only thing going on is my Drs appt to get his sign off on my cancer treatment on 11/3.
Blessings!0
