    Good morning gentlemen.

The system was down, when I first tried to log on. Presumably, some of you had the same experience, hence the late start.

We had a freeze warning this morning, but it only made it to 36. Tomorrow and Saturday are forecast to be in the high 20s.

I am waiting for a guy to come and make a bid for removing a large flowering cherry tree in our front yard. It's really pretty for about two weeks a year, but the roots are huge and shallow, making mowing a problem, and the leaves are a horrible mess. Too big a tree for where it is. I want to keep all the larger limbs and the trunk and have the stump ground as far as they can go.

Yesterday, we had the fireplace guy over and enjoyed a cozy blaze all evening. It seems to put out more heat than it did in the past. You could feel it all the way upstairs.

    Good Morning

Restocking on cherry wood is a nice bonus for taking down the tree. It is so beautiful. A cozy blaze sounds good as hoodie season is upon us. I took it easy yesterday in case my sinus issues are a slight cold. It didn't help. I have just over a week to go before my next cancer procedure and I can't afford to get sick and have to postpone it. I am holding off my flu shot & Covid shot too. I have a couple batches of enriched dough to make this afternoon to put in the fridge for a couple batches of cinnamon rolls early tomorrow morning for Heather to take to the teachers at her former Pre-School. They loaned her one of their paper cutters since hers was packed up and she needed to get some Thanksgiving and Winter themed cards made. This evening we will head off to the Cinema Ale House to see Beetlejuice on the big screen. I am going to wear a mask to be safer.

    Evenin' gents

Yup, couldn't access boards thia am.
Great to see you checking in, Bob!
Do your docs just shake their heads when they they see you shake off all these events? I certainly don't know of anyone that has had multiple events and then, each time, completely recovers. Nothing short of phenomenal. I'm confident this time will be no different.
Gonna plant a new cherry tree?
Got back from S Dakota last night.
    Beetlejuice?
Great adventure and good time. Will likely go back.

    Be OP ;-)

Late, late check-in here. Got in another hike this afternoon, gorgeous fall weather, 70º, sun and clouds. Taking it slow. Really dragging as I come back from COVID, but coughing almost gone. I finally got back on the piano tonight after 10 days none at all. Retested positive, but doc says that means nothing, up to 90 days as antibodies subside. Tomorrow the mask comes off and I’ll feel comfortable going into stores.

I love a fireplace, but haven’t had one since I was home growing up with my folks.

    Sam, hang in there...
