Good morning!
Cold and wet in KC. We could have our first "wintery mix" of the season tomorrow. I remember taking the boys out on Halloween in the snow one time. This is about on schedule.
These days we are very boring and we keep our porch light off on Halloween. We don't get many in our semi-rural neighborhood anyway.
Lots of chores today, and then plans to settle in and just watch football tomorrow. The Chiefs are in Denver and they are expecting snow.

Good morning gentlemen.
It's going to be a sunny day, today, but it's only 26 right now. Pretty chilly for October around Puget Sound.
Took the grand kids to a Halloween thing at their school last night. Taking them to a pumpkin carving event at our church, this afternoon, before we pass them on to their other grandparents.
Slept very poorly, last night. Neck, back, hip all hurting and couldn't find a comfortable position. I'd like to take a nap and watch football this afternoon, but that won't happen.0 -

Hiked two miles yesterday after getting a few things from Walmart. Nice trail through hemlock forest along a river that ends in a series of raucous waterfalls. Temp hit 79° midafternoon. Indian Summer at its best.
Slept 10 hours again last night. Good thing I’m retired.
I remember one Halloween we got 18” of snow. Some lost power for 5 days.

Good Morning, barely
Late check in. I slept 8 1/2 hours which is very unusual for me. I woke up a couple times out of necessity but nothing spasmed or ached and I fell back asleep. Feels good. I read my pre-procedure email yesterday and then went on line to do all the paperwork. I went to that surgery center for my biopsy but I guess they didn't keep any of the information and now I had to type it all in. Two weeks ago I asked the Radiation Oncologist about the after effects of the Brachytherapy and he made it sound pretty minor. I read the the pre surgical stuff and I might of used some inappropriate language reading about possible issues. Fun stuff. Nothing planned today since Heather is up doing some prep work for making more cards and such for the Holidays. Since I am rested and moving reasonably well I may try to dig up the two rootballs from the vines we cut down last week. I have some branches and stuff to cut into smaller pieces as well so we can put it in the green bin.
