    • First "full day" back in the saddle. Dreading this.
    • Begin PT tomorrow. Dreading that.
    • Still no "official word" on Coast Guard. I gave boss to Friday before I pull out. Not dragging feet beyond that. Government bureaucracy at its finest.
    • Me thinks I might have some choice words today.
    • A few pics of Sassy, AB, BAL, might cheer up a lousy morning!

    Good morning.

    Happy (belated) birthday, Dennis!

    Dad went into the hospital last night. Dehydrated and tanked blood sugar. My brother looked at test results in the app and thinks there may be an infection too because the white blood cell count is high. Of course, he's an accountant like me, so I'm waiting until a respectable time to ping on the assumption that he had a late night.

    Much cooler today, little cloudy but expecting little to no rain.
    Got candy down from top of cabinet where I had stored it where I would not be tempted.
    Getting some cancers cut off this morning, DW driving since so close to eye.
    Praying for Lou's dad.
    Hope gig comes through for you Skip.

    Got in some turning time, yesterday, and hope to again, this morning. Good for my psyche. We've had great hiking weather for the last week, and I am stuck at home. Depressing.

    Heading over to watch the grandkids trick or treat, tonight. Our house will be one of the dark ones that don't hand out candy.

    Headed to the beach for a swim soon, then the cheaper liquor store. Booze is outrageous here so hoping the "outlet" offers better options.
