    I don't blame you for not wanting to send your financials to Staples for copying, Steph. That $40 color printer sounds like a good idea.
    I play a very supervisory role in our financial stuff. M does all the busy work.
    Hope you didn't tucker Tucker out on his B-day. I tuckered out BAL yesterday hunting through some really heavy cover. Her wee paws are a bit tender this morning. A reminder that in spite of her eagerness to keep hunting, I should be more mindful of the steps she has taken.

    Another rainy day. I will spend time in the shop this morning, finishing a couple small pieces. I might armor myself in Goretex and take Sassy for a walk.

    Beach day yesterday. It was a bit wavy so I spent most of the time on a lounger under a palm. Might go back today for a bit. The good beach resort is about a 15 minute drive. They don't check to make sure we are guests so get to use the loungers and wash station. I try to buy a drink or two once in awhile and it's not crowded so I don't feel like we are taking someone else's spot.

    • I have an aorta scan this morning and I have to FAST. I am missing my coffee and egg mcmuffin.
    • I closed the car door on my thumb yesterday. Hurt like heck. The worst part is I couldn't take anything for the pain because of the scan.
    • Laying on the beach in the Caymans. Life is tough. Enjoy.

    Ouch Dennis. My mom broke her thumb closing it on herself in my car door many moons ago.

    Came home from a long weekend with dgd to start cutting back and cleaning out my gardens. My lawn guy has been reminding me to get it done so he can complete his fall yard winterizing . I'm 80 percent done. Temps are 60F today so I'll finish later after work today and be done.

    Sad loss for Byron in yesterday's Nascar show. Oh well.

    DH does our joint finances. I'm happy he does . I do enough of that paperwork for work.

    • Day is getting away from me. Up early to catch up on work and haven't stopped.
    • Meeting with Developer who wants to put in an easement on our property to fix drainage: waiting for a call from VP to ask about refunding us our lot premium if they are planning on taking part of our SMALL backyard! 🤬🤬🤬
    • Final approval for USCGA came through! Looks like I will be a full-time Professor after all :-). Tuck and I report for duty in CT in 7 weeks!
