I think the only clocks I had to set back were on our stove and microwave. Everything else automatically set themselves back. Either connected by mobile or wifi.
It seems, when walking behind my dogs pheasant hunting, I can do 5-6 miles without suffering too much soreness as a result. That distance is relatively normal for when I hunt with the girls in CT. The 8-12 miles I was doing in S Dakota was a real practice in my ability to manage my pain and fatigue.
Good news is that in spite of eating very well during the trip, I am down a couple of pounds.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning!

Lee, I'm so happy that you had such a great trip. That is still a lot of walking.

I'm shooting for 9,000 steps a day average. I'm working up to it. The goal for this week is 7,500 steps a day average. I'll add 500 a week until I get to the 9,000.

I worked my tail off this weekend, and still didn't get to half of what I wanted to. Connie keeps adding things to the list, and the stoopid deer keep adding to the list. I was putting new fencing around our smallest trees yesterday, rather what was left of them. :(

Lee, I think you might be right in the the Swift effect might not be so good for the Chiefs. It is really a distraction from the team, I think.

Dave, that's too bad about your door. We have very nice cabinets that the cat has left her mark on.

Praying for all of you today for healing and for pain management.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin’

I signed up for an “easy” hike today with the local senior club, but I’m going to bail out. I felt lousy yesterday—coughing, tired, woosie-headed—and ended up not even going to church. Like I was going backwards from recovering from COVID. One step at a time, I guess. Will get in a walk at my own pace today, how far depending on how I feel. I think I might have over done it with the longer strenuous hike I did Friday.

I did get in the car and drove to church in the afternoon, only to discover I was an hour early because I hadn’t changed my watch or the clock on the dashboard. Was going to hang around but felt so lousy I just left and went back home. I have an old key wound mantle clock, an anniversary clock, a few thrift shop clocks I have repaired, some battery operated quartz shelf clocks, and a few broken clocks still waiting for inspiration. My phone and my laptop are the only things that set themselves.

8-12 miles a day would be pushing it for me at any stage of life. Your hunt sounds like it was awesome, Lee.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Clock setting has gotten easier. The stove, the microwave and the coffee maker, need setting. Then there is the wall thermostat and the bedside clock/radio, which just have a switch to go from standard toi daylight saving. Everything else sets itself, even the car dashboard.

I used to walk five to six miles a day and hike 15 to 20 once or twice a week. I miss those days. I hope I can get back there. Walking used to be my one great talent. Maybe it was an old Army thing.

    Good Morning

I forgot about the thermostat, but it appears to be self adjusting, though its not a WIFI model. Memories of the the avid runner, walker & day hiker days have faded far into a dusty corner of my mind. Now I struggle for 5K steps. Once I can get my back under control again we hope to be daily walkers since I got the new and improved knee. Yesterday was a bust. After my early morning trip to get our knives sharpened, I found myself getting rather spacey at a store, rested and headed home. We sat and watched binged watched television most of the day. I presume it is a bit of carryover from the anesthesia on Friday. I wasn't able to make progress, so we will try again today together. Slight drizzle yesterday and today, but it shouldn't cause a problem.

Late to the party. Sorry you are not feeling it today Sam hope the docs have it figured out soon. Bill: glad to hear you might be moving better (fingers crossed). Sorry about the unsteadiness and yeah could be anesthesia. Wow Dave 100 years is a lonnnnnnnnng time and worth celebrating.
I just have one giant sized analog clock in the garage without a face on it to adjust. I will just move the hands a bit for my final clock setting
