    Off to neighborhood Veterans Day breakfast. Then to meet deputy boss at winery (he’s a retired CSM from USA).

    Tucker off to daycare for the day.

    Thinking of Lou and his brothers.

    I spend yesterday meeting up with 2 of my 4 first cousins I haven't seen in 35yrs. And my aunt in law, their 87yr old mother. Whom was married to my Moms brother. The siblings became estranged after our grandmother passed away. Arguing about her estate issues. Sad they allowed their division to happen. So excited to foster a new relationship with them now, going forward.

    Yard leave work today, then meeting ds and ddil and baby Tony for a late afternoon lunch and walk around a cute little town called Cedarburg, nearby.

    Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow vets. Giving you the secret handshake.

    Such a stormy morning that it woke us up. The street in front of the house looked like a mountain stream, with a giant whirlpool at the drain next to our driveway. Glad we live on the uphill side of the street.

    Taking the whole family out to dinner tonight. Thinking Texas Roadhouse or a Mexican place. They talked about going to one of the places that offer free food to veterans, but I avoid those places. There are a lot of vets around here, and those restaurants get really crowded. I don't need to put up with all that, just to get some free pancakes.

    Yesterday we chilled at home. He seems to be doing some better. Sigh.

    We spent most of the day watching YouTube videos of houses for sale in Florida in case we decide to settle for a bit.
