Nice day here. Dog training, then meeting a friend with a pregnant dog to x-ray the dog to see how many puppies to expect.
Thank you to all who served.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning!

A very sincere thank you to the veterans in our group. Your sacrifice and service make a difference for all of us.

Another day of leaf gathering and lawn cutting today. I think that I will use the lawn tractor mowing with the lawn sweeper behind it. I have mulching blades on the mower. The lawn sweeper will pick up excess leaves and grass while some of it will be mulched. We STILL have leaves on the trees, so this likely will not be the last gathering of the season. Our moving to a maintenance free condo got vetoed again.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.
Happy day to my fellow veterans. At my mom's birthday party, they dug out an old photo album that showed my grandpa in his Army uniform in 1917. He was in the trenches when the guns fell silent at 11 a.m., November 11, 1918. An 18-year-old kid, who was only 16 when he lied about his age to enlist. He served in the Navy, as an officer, in WWII.

It's a stormy morning out here, with high winds and heavy rain. Woke us up, which never happens. It should mostly blow through by mid-day. This will bring down most of the rest of the leaves on our trees, so I will be out there again when we get a dry day.

I hope to spend more time in the shop, today. It is one week until the annual holiday bazaar I participate in.

    Good Morning

A heartfelt thank you to all who served our country.

Today is we finish up the bulk of the work out back. The junk pick up isn't for another week. Though our stuff complies with the graphic the trash folks have on line which is 8'Lx5'Hx3.3'W, nothing can be over 5' long and some things have to be tied in bundles. I am tempted to just take it to the transfer station and pay the fee otherwise I have to cut the plastic pieces of the shed in half. grumble grumble grumble. Not much else planned today except for my last dulcimer group lesson at 4. I run out of energy early afternoon anyway and have to rest. A few weeks ago I asked my son to help out with the cooking. Last night he made Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic Naan. It was amazing.
