22 degrees this am. Guess it is time to turn on the heated kennels in the barn for the girls.
Green chili pheasant soup is one of my favorite ways to use pheasant. It is a pretty simple prep, and lots of flavor. Pheasant stroganoff with sherry, smoking the breasts wrapped in bacon and basted with maple syrup, white chicken (substitute pheasant) chili, and in a chilindron, are other go to recipes.
Very sore and achy this morning. Only did 11 miles of hiking with shotgun and dogs this weekend, which is a fairly normal weekend. Had to take extra tylenol ER last night to get to sleep.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning,
Cold and cooler weather likes to stirrup Arthur.
No test this week and only one doctor's appointment.
Rain over weekend took many leaves off trees, will wait to one day next week to get up again.
Hope today finds all feeling better.

    Mornin’

Stopped by DS & EX’s house after church yesterday, and had some chili. Got real sick afterwards at home, up half the night with "double barrel indigestion”. Still recovering… Fun way to kick off the week.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Slept in until almost 6, this morning. Feel very rested as a result.

The stormy weather over the weekend brought down a lot of leaves. The front yard is ankle deep. With dry weather forecast for today, I know that I we=ill be spending several hours gathering and hauling leaves.

Have to get all my wood turnings laid out on the dining room table, so we can put prices on everything for this weekend's bazaar.

    Good Morning

We had a productive day working in the back. A new thick layer of bark chips are down and the final bit of pruning done. Much of the junk from the Garden Shed and old compost bin etc are on their way to the dump thanks to my neighbors who already had load being picked up. All that is left is a bit of cleanup of the hardscape with the blower and to box up the bird feeders and such that will go north with us. It looks empty back there but it does make it look even bigger. The body held up and and is only a bit stiff today. It seems to have helped the glute issue too. We rushed to get this done before the rain comes this week. But I see our friends in the PNW have once again pulled our weather system North.

I might have a teledoc with my oncologist today. I put it on the calendar today and next Monday so I will find out which is right in a few hours. Either way I have a few questions I am eager to get answers to. House chores today and tuning ye olde dulcimer.
