We cleaned house & washed all the windows inside and out yesterday and screens too. They sure were dirty, yikes! I can see clearly to the outside now. The Norwax blue and purple cloths for cleaning glass is suburb, Unbelievable actually. Especially with my progressive lenses on, which came after I turned 50. Used readers for a couple years prior.
Heading to Costco for 2 pumpkin pies today. Had been adding holiday fare to my last couple weeks of groceries so not to get hit with what I need all at once. Seems a bit less painful on the wallet. Especially since we are hosting 3 days.
Hope Steph and Ron settle in FL nicely.
Ds2 sent me a live video of 5 Month old baby Tony last night laughing up a storm. He is so darn cute, that dgs of mine!

DW going into NYC for niece's baby shower.
Picking up a whole brisket to smoke for Turkey Day this afternoon. There will be turkey too, but some of us like having a red meat option.
Am a little jealous, Mary. No videos of my DGS for a few days. LOL, DDIL had been spoiling us with videos almost daily.

- Got a Teldoc appt yesterday for some Benzonatate.....so far, not much impact.
- Realtor who sold house is hosting a soiree today at brewery: Pints & Pies. Might go get me one of each.
- Chilly here too. But I've always been partial to brisk mornings.

Grandkids are wonderful. Even better if you can get them to live nearby.
Craft sale went very well, yesterday. We made just about as much as last year. Having Rita there probably doubles my sales. She has the outgoing, engaging personality I lack. I split the profits with her.
I have another meeting of elders after the church service, today. That will drag on into the afternoon. Glad my 3-year term as an elder is coming to a close at the end of the year.1 -

My former SIL is in the hospital with a kidney infection. Same hospital and floor as dad. They remember him well as he made quite the impression.0 -

Ron's xbox is doing him good. He has been testing out many games and we have found a few we can do together. It totally takes his mind off his ailments.
Our little household is doing a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I'm making a key like pie as a nod to being in Florida. Need to find out if they want me to get groceries or just venmo $$. I have time and everyone else is working all week. I see a turkey breast already in the freezer.0 -

- In the words of the immortal Sam the Man, I've been churched and schooled.
- At a special called church conference yesterday our request to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church was approved. Tomorrow our church votes to join the Global Methodist Church which should be a slam-dunk. It's all good. We have more in common than what separates us.
- Glad Ron found a new toy to occupy his time.
- We are going to Woodstock, GA to spend Thanksgiving with some old friends and their family (about 125 miles away.
- Congratulations on the successful craft sale Dave. I would say your art sells itself, but you do need a personable front man woman.
- Enjoy the grandbabies.
