Good Morning
I awoke quite early again. 3 night in a row of getting about 4 hours sleep. I am hoping to nod off a bit in the recliner. Surgeon called yesterday to schedule the consult in early December but failed to send the follow up email which includes the contact info. I will track that down along with the MRI request today. I started on the stronger pain med patch last night. We shall see. We need to get some shopping done for Thanksgiving. My eldest son has decided to do the turkey breast and the sides have been assigned by Heather. I have her mother's green bean beans. I miss the days when I would do it all on the big meal days. Hopefully next year. After shopping with Heather I will see what I am up to. I would like to play my dulcimer if I can sit comfortably.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Doing some final prep work for my Thanksgiving cooking. Sadly, this also includes a trip to the grocery store, which is sure to be packed.
Might also attack the leaves on the lawn. Rita has been busily putting up Christmas decorations in advance of her trip to Vegas next week. It is good to get out of her way.0 -
Good morning!
I'm getting it started at work. I realized I forgot to sign on earlier, so taking a minute now. I think that this will be a full work day, but we get Friday off too.
I am very much looking forward to having several days off. I will be doing the cooking tomorrow. Connie made sure that we have all the ingredients by going to the store yesterday. I think we are good!
It was a frosty 22 when I took Frankie out this morning.
Prayers continue for all of you.
Have a great day!0 -
You are lucky Dave, DW waits for me to put up all decorations. Our outside is done will tackle inside Friday.
Was scheduled for a test this morning, calls yesterday where insurance denied hospital wanted me to pay $3,800 when I have zero copay. Insurance wants 6 months treatment first. Doctor argues early intervention will help and save them money in long run.
Plan on making two pies today, apple and pecan.0 -
Good luck Bill with the pain management and the docs.
Quick trip to the grocery store myself soon.
Oh Sam ya gotta love insurance companies. They want your money but don't want to pay or give service!!!!!
I was shocked that I got my PSMA PET CT scan which saves therm money in the long run.
Still dealing with helping out my dear wife and her broken 7th rib. Lots of pain to deal with for sure.
Hoping we can go to DD for a brief thanksgiving visit with just the 4 of us incl spouses.0 -
Had piano class this morning; we had snow last night that turned to rain and slush this morning.
I shopped for stuffing ingredients yesterday and stood in long, long checkout line. Made the stuffing—sausage, bread, onions, celery, mushrooms, eggs, seasonings, butter, butter and more butter. In the fridge till morning, when I’ll bake it and bring to dinner along with some leftover ratatouille. Will get to meet DS’s new GF.
Gee, Bill, hope you can get some rest. Steve, enjoy time off. Good luck and prayers for everyone dealing with treatments, copays, doctor issues, med issues, pain, and so on.
Happy Thanksgiving.0
