    G'Morning~
    • Hope everyone is doing great from their food coma's 😎
    • Sadly, after dinner, DMIL fell and broke her ankle in two places. ALS transported her. On my way to hospital to take umbrage with Hospital Administrator over the on call Ortho who decided he was too busy to come "in" last night. I might require bail money later.
    • Nothing I need to buy today in store. Though APPL is doing a good sale today.....

Oh no Skip, sorry to read that. Sending get well soon wishes.

Round 1 last night for 8 went fine and I didn't choke dh's bil. Boy is he failing fast, O2 strapped to his back, a cane and slow going. Looks sickly.
I say karma as a.... looks 85 he is 69. Came over to me and asked if he could give me a big hug. Um no. In fact you can't. I'm not into that kinda of thing, covid and all. πŸ˜·πŸ˜‰ he didn't really know how to respond. So good to see dh's kids though and our 10mo old granddaughter! They are doing great

We're Up and out early 6am at Menards for a 4cycle $199.99 snow blower, folks were lined up when we showed at 5:45a. They only had 16, we got 1 for ds2, for Xmas gift. Hohoho. @830a , we're off to the tree farm to get our tree and just put it on the deck for now. Ds1 can help dh bring it in on Sun.

Then its onto round 2 of 3. A 15lb. Bird with all the trimmings, for my crew. Can't wait to see my dgs and my brother is coming too, he has not met baby yet. We'll have 9 for dinner tonite at 5pm

Hope you all have a great day

    Morning BBB

Our Thanksgiving was lovely. We had 5 plus the two doggies that live upstairs. A nice traditional meal then wine and games.

I did a little online shopping. I plan to cut my hair back to a super short style since we seem to be traveling with more stuff for the time being so bought a hairdryer and a flat iron.

We are meeting Ron's dad and his GF for lunch today then if Ron is up to it a few online friends for happy hour. It's about an hour drive.

    Good morning.

Sorry to hear about DMIL's fall, Skip. Prayers that the ortho feels the appropriate amount of regret over his choices without requiring an orthopedist of his own after your chat today.

I need to wear some looser clothing today until the effects of the Brazilian steakhouse wear off. There's barely any room for coffee in my stomach right now. AND I NEED COFFEE.

I think we're heading over to storage today because she's had some clothes she's wanted to take to Brazil to give her niece. That gives me a shot to try to organize that chaotic mess again.

    Good morning BBB friends.

So sorry about your DMIL, Skip.

    Wonderful time with family, yesterday.

Today I will battle the last of the leaves in the yard. The evening will be devoted to the civil war between Oregon and Oregon State. Go Ducks!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Sorry to hear about your DMIL Skip. Hopefully it can be set and be okay.
    • Nice day with good friends we haven't seen in quite a while. We are accepted as a part of their extended family. The drive was busy but not too bad even though we had cross through Atlanta.
    • Thank God for fat pants Lou. You'll have time to recover while Cecilia is in Brazil.
    • Congratulations on your restraint Mary. We all have those in-laws.
    • I need to get back to the art of motorcycle maintenance.

So sorry about DMIL ankle, hope it heals quickly; sounds as surgery will be required on Monday,
My DMIL was here yesterday rubbing hands all over the walls, dropping tissues everywhere she went and sat; food covered floor around chair where she ate, worse than an infant.
We had ten yesterday and DW got kids to take lots of leftovers home with them.
I only fixed one plate yesterday plus one plate of pie and cake. Up three pounds today, I'm blaming it on ham.
DS and DSonIL put up tree for me yesterday and brought all decorations up from basement.
Have an appointment for tomorrow looking at puppies while DW is still in agreement to get one. Place has some puppies where state closed down two puppy mills,
I have no trees in our yard but our small lot backs up to woods and there are still leaves holding on trees just to aggravate me.

    Afternoon BBB

    Wow. Poor DMIL, Skip.
Lou, wish you could have sampled my brisket. It was well received. 231irrkr4gvi.jpg
Sounds like everyone had a nice Turkey Day, except for Skip's DMIL.
