Rainy day. Don't feel like chasing birds in the rain, so we will stay home and take care of stuff that gets neglected when the weather is decent.
Nationals were in mid and late November, and there are no trials scheduled in the east before the new year, so I am just letting the girls have fun on the stocked birds on club and public land right now.
Just installed a fancy mattress cover heated pad. Hope it will help Arthur Itis. Most of my sleepus interuptus is due to aches and pains laying in bed.

Good morning!
Frankie woke me up early. I tried to go back to bed after taking her outside. That lasted all of 45 minutes. Sigh...
I have a question for those of you who use CPAPs. Connie is on me that I don't clean my hoses and/or replace them nearly enough. She is right. I'm very lazy about that. How often do you wash out your hose & mask, and how often do you replace them?
I climbed up in the attic yesterday for the first time in well over 10 years. I didn't find any wildlife, which is good. I did, however see that the blown in insulation is very compacted, and it is very dirty. I saw a little mold damage, but really not a lot. It is pretty clear to me that I need to call someone in to replace the old insulation, and while they are at it, they can hook up the bathroom vents to the roof. The bathroom exhaust fans have never been hooked up to a roof vent, the have always exhausted into the attic. I am sure that is part of the problem with the mold spores in our bedroom.
Chores today and then Chiefs at Lambeau Field tonight tromping on the Packers.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
I'm no help to you, Steve. No CPAP, here.
Great fun watching grandkids, yesterday: first as DGD sang in grade school choir, later at DGS's birthday party.
Don't know what today will hold, after church.0 -
Good Morning,
Joanne washes her hoses and mask weekly, machine tells her when to change filters.
Pablo slept all night last night.
Off to church0 -
Good Morning
I am supposed to watch the cpap stuff each week, I tend to do it closer to 2 weeks. I wash the reusable filter at that time. The disposable filter is inspected then and replaced if it is discolored. I replace the hose, headgear and nasal cushion per the Medicare schedule since that is how they are replenished.
I slept fairly well, except for getting up to pee. I feel better today. I am still going to take it easy to see if I can shake the rest of this cold. I am tired of resting but we have plans tomorrow night to visit a garden's Christmas display so I want to make sure I am good to go. We watched It's A Wonderful Life last night. That one never gets old.0
